  • Very nice.

  • A flat Major! Great song!

  • 感情の入れ方が、そごくいいとおもいます。

    感動。

    あたしも今その曲やってるんですけど、感情をいれるのがむずかしい。。。

  • I compared Ritchie to Karl Haas of "Adventures in Good Music"

He can be found in En wikipedia as Karl_Haas

  • I really like the interpretation. First because it is not rushed and the artist allows you to walk along with, instead of running behind. Second, because it is very much like the reading that Dr. Karl Haas gave every episode of his Adventures in Good Music. While the music was always so good, it was the stories that he told that I wish I could hear again. So, you brought back memories of that program on WNIB in Chicago.

  • I'm looking for someone to play some inventions I wrote....any takers? if so email me at jameskoenig11@gmail

  • nicely played

  • Fond memories of Karl Haas! Thanks!

  • for some reason this kinda reminds me of my childhood and it kinda sounds like its from pokemon

  • @Mysticaznone If only Beethoven was still around to write 8-bit music for our gameboys...

  • Very nicely done. Very moving. I'm working on the first mvt. Fun, but difficult, the fast part, of course. But I love it.

    Great job!

  • I'm trying to learn it, but it's about the hardest thing I've ever tried in my life.

  • dont give up

i skipped grade 6 to do grade 7 and 8 level it was hard first for me for when getting the notes now i its fairly easy for me on my second week practise

  • What the 1st or 2nd movement?

  • @g3org33r3 The one in the video.

  • @g3org33r3 Second.

  • i gave you the 10,000 view

  • i love it :)

i'm learning this song at the moment

    very good job

  • love it very much

thank you :) i had a bad day...why is it that even on days like this, this sonata always makes me feel better? is it possible to be in love with a song? in my case i guess it is ^ ^

  • I like Beethoven's Pathetiqu 2nd movement. Thank you for the video. :)

  • Awesome

  • a very very nice and beautiful song. i love it!!

  • 1音1音気持ちのこもったステキな音色での演奏に思わず聴き入ってしまいました。Thanks!

  • He played measure 37 and beyond like some doo-wop song.

  • look here, every self respecting classical pianist like ,dare I'd say, one of us would very much realize that every expression of art depends on the artist (pianist) expressing it. agree?

  • That is very true. but it is also true that Beethoven composed very passionately and dark. Composers like Bach and Mozart were very fluent and there pieces are very open. but Beethoven's music is very straight forward and has to be played precisely or it won't be as passionate or smooth.

  • Definitely. Like Beethoven's Moonlight. I sometimes label the emotion of Moonlight Sonata as "Frustrated Joy" Think So?

  • very much so!

    and fur elise a "romance"

though now that I think of it.... Youtube is a place to show your stuff :)

  • how the fur elise has three part ya? The first is the common chorus. The second, the shortest and the fastest, and the invigorating third part. Yeah. pretty much romantic though. Beethoven's not my favourite piano composer though. Liszt's Liebestraum pulls my heartstrings.

  • there both very romantic!

but I think Lizst is more romantic.

  • Liebestraum is the best!! THE BEST I TELL YA!!

  • Oh yeah gigity!

no but really... (never mind that comment *ahem*)

I totally agree with you! :D I also think the first movement of pathetique is awesome! :D

  • Liszt's transcription of symphony number 5 is also awesome.

  • Yes! I love it! are you a musician?

  • Would you be surprised if I told you I was?

  • no lol!

  • let's be friends.

  • okay! :)

  • harsh. i thought it sounded pretty nice.

  • aah. I was expecting the middle part faster though, but slow enough to follow adagio cantabile.

  • you're a very sharp critic I'd say.

  • This is good ok, Archarel.I think you can play even much more better with harmonicity. Also I think you should use much pedal, to get the expression.Again your ending was good.Better.Beethoven was very emotional & expressional. You know that?

  • just beautiful. what more i can say? :)

  • you played really well. you're lucky to have access to a nice piano. I'm working on memorizing this movement right now.

  • Oh, I know a lot of his works don't worry. Goodluck.

  • was this hard to play? and if im an okay, intermediate player, will it be hard?

  • Archarel, as an intermediate player, I find it quite easy. There are a few bars which I have found really annoying, due to they being discordant, but it should be fairly easy as a whole.

  • really?!? thank you so much! i think its a beautiful song. ur interpretation sounds really unique.

  • MY FAVORITE TOO.

  • Beethoven was such a good composer! Good job!

    Very nice! :) *5

  • is it a steinway?

  • After many attempts I found the good performance of the sonata on youtube, and it wasn't easy. I do not know why people post crap performances!! But you are good! :-)

  • amazing job! i love this!!

  • WOW!It's amazing perfomance ! very nice and impressive playing. I like the way you play :)I wanna see your other works. good job!

  • Very relaxing to listen to. There is a serenity and a peacefulness in this piece especially the way it is performed here.

  • ii!!
