  • @ArialKyoSohma that's because it is the same person! Susan Egan

  • You know... the Belle from the musical sounds like Meg from Hercules... JUST SAYIN'.

  • PUMKIN, EXTEND WITH ME!

  • Go Wolverine!!! Who knew X-Men could sing?

  • @LilyTigerR So it WAS Hugh Jackman that sang this?

  • @ShadowSonic2 Yup! My favorite. :-)

  • @LilyTigerR Uh not to say you're wrong or anything, Jackman did sing this song, but in the Australian cast. This is the OBC recording. This would be Burke Moses.

  • Gaston says that they'll have tons of kids, and Belle responds with, "Inconceivable."

    Heh.

  • @somekido17 Tons of MALE kids, I might add.

  • This is the one sung by Burk Moses, right?

  • pumpkin extend with me! i roll on the floor laughing!

  • Press the little CC utton then press transcribe video, then laugh at the lyrics

  • Seriously, I wonder how the person that sang this sang the line ' We will be a perfect pair, just like my thighs' without bursting into laughter

  • Am I the only one who thinks Belle's voice in this song kinda sounds like Meg from Hercules?

  • @Reaperluver Same actress. Susan Egan.

  • @Reaperluver Susan Egan who played Belle in the Musical Played Meg in Hercules to!! :)

  • reminds me of the obviously gay men on str8 dating shows on mtv that are always looking in the mirror

  • Hey, where did you get that nice pic of the hunting lodge from?

  • We will be the perfect pair, rather like my thighs....Seriously gets me everytime! hahahahahaha!

  • @XxCluelessCaitlinxX Me too! IF you laugh at that you should go see our MV My Prince :)

    Traceyblaze

  • "Inconceivable."

Ahh...Susan Egan. What a voice she has.

  • @YourFaceWillDie468 It should have been Paige O'Hara from the movie.

  • @Angie2343 Um...why? Sorry, but I just think it's odd that you respond to a simple comment I made by saying something fairly irrelevant without saying why you think so. Susan Egan just has such charm and incorrigible cuteness!

  • @YourFaceWillDie468 Oh yeah. I;m sorry.

  • @Angie2343 You didn't do anything to apologize for. You just confused me. I was just thinking, "What do you mean 'it should have been Paige O'Hara from the movie'? What's wrong with Susan Egan?"

  • "I.... I just don't deserve you!" "Who does? MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

  • Funny.

  • this is Burke Moses, right?

  • *DIES*

  • This is so cuite.

  • Gaston is sooo conceited!

  • This song just screams awkward xD

  • This song is so sexual.

  • "Pumpkin, extend with me?" I thought that was so funny XD I can't believe I got Gaston as a part in my school's play! Lol

  • I love this song! lol

  • RATHER LIKE MY THIYS!

  • i hope Gaston chokes and dies. what a jerk!

  • ewie he wants to extend with her!!!!!!!! lol jk but that is disturbing

  • @CartoonBabe96 Well, that also starts with a different kind of extension.

  • @kaighnyne true...

  • I'm surprised Gaston knows what genes are considering his aversion for reading.

  • 2:50 hilarious lol XD

  • This song is so delightfully sexist... I love it!!!!!!! :)

  • "But,thanks for asking!"

    XDXDXDXD

  • "All roads lead to..." Gaston, who is a self-centered male chauvinist, and also a sexist murderer.

Belle is way smarter than Gaston. She knows that the Beast is nicer. The Beast treats Belle as an equal.

  • Broadway meets original motion picture. Pretty cool.

  • Belle looks lkike a Smartass 1:57

  • the person who played gaston in our play made the "Oooh Yes!" line 10x funnier.. ill try to put up a video later..

  • I had always wished Gaston had fallen in manure instead of mud.

It would have been fitting considering how he was so full of it anyway, lol.

  • weiser did a great job with this musical it was amazing !!!!! the best eva !!! go cw!! and this was my fav song great job nate and emily!! and the rest of the cast!!:)

  • Wow... Gaston is just.... I'm not entirely sure what to say to that, except "What a conceited ^&^#@!!!!#@$"

  • @PsychoticGeek23 I think Gaston is amazing! He's my favorite character :)

  • One of my favorite songs in the play! The exaggerated expressions the actor playing Gaston used when I saw it added to the fun.

Thanks much for the upload ^_^

  • i absolutely love this! =) this song is so funny! gaston is great <3

  • The snipets of Belle sound like Meg from Hercules haha

  • Cause it's the same girl :D (the original broadway Belle was the same girl that played Meg)

  • @Imgnrphx It's Susan Egan. She originated the role of Belle on Broadway, and was also the voice of Meg in Hercules.

  • @Cdaae663 Wait, I know xP I was just

replying to rupertgrintsgirly. :D But thanks!

  • @Imgnrphx Yeah, I'm aware. I just thought that I would tell you guys her name :)

  • @Cdaae663 Oh, ok! Well, thank you! :D

  • Im so going to sing this to my girlfriend. Ha Wonder how hard shell slap me.

  • Haha, if you do, you're in for it, man!

  • Ha! Too late, I was out witted. She listened to the whole thing then said yes Ill marry you cue a look of horror as my mind tries to think how to talk my way out of this. Right until she broke out laughing and preceded to unscrew my head vie my ears :(

  • Is that a win or a fail? Or both? O_o

  • Both definitely both.

  • It sounds just like the Gaston from the Disney Production. This guy is amazing

  • The video was amazing and went so well with the scenes you used.

But if I thought disliked Gaston before, I'm imagining slow painful deaths for him now.

Ugh those lyrics make me want to strangle him!

But I guess that's sort of the point.

  • Wow, I hear of so many high schools and middle schools doing this play, And none of the schools in my area or that I attended, never did plays at all! I would have loved to act in something like this...

Oh well, the only place that I'll be able to see this is at my downtown theater, but its okay since its coming to my city this spring. Yay!

  • I love it!! great job!! I wish that song was in the movie

  • :o I really wanna try out for Gaston. My school play is desperate for male-leads... I think I could play a vain character ;D

  • I think you should go for it! Let me know how it goes!

  • I'd rather be beast... one that fits my personality.

  • go for it! why shouldnt you? good luck!!!!!

  • our performance school just put it on, and let me tell you from experience, Gaston is fun!

  • kinda like my thighs! LOL

  • why doesn't disney do everything?

  • the play came after the movie.

  • Knowing Gaston, I find it kind of anti-climatic that he'd ONLY want 6 or 7 boys. 9v9 Doesn't he know that he's just SO AWESOME that he can conceive 20 at a time?

  • @DIsForLotsOfThings but can belle handle that?

  • @DIsForLotsOfThings I think he THINKS he's so awesome that he could try 20 at a time. I think thats why Belle tossed him out there w/the pig, perhaps she figured he could find a mate more on his level. Plus pigs can have bunches of babies at a time so..perfect match. Feel kinda bad for the poor pig tho, lol.

  • @DIsForLotsOfThings I interpret "six or seven" as an innuendo---if you combine the words, you get "sex." As in "...We'll have SIX or SEVEN." XD XD XD

  • I love it!! 5/5 This is one of my favourite songs of the "Beauty and the Beast". Good job!

  • I LOVE IT!!!! SO great!!!

  • This is brilliant! Good job! :)

  • xD I love the pictures in "my latest kill" and "roasting over the fire". Nice irony!

  • pumpkin, extend with me. ;)

  • This one of my favourite songs too bad it wasn't in the movie

  • I listened to the disney version while matching it with the broadway CD version, it was funny.

  • is ashley brown singing belle's part???

  • No, it's Susan Egan!

  • Wow. I feel like a total retard! I saw this broadway play when I was a kid. I was about to correct you and say it's not Susan Egan, but I am wrong! I just googled it. Hat's off to you. :) How cool that she played Belle in the disney film -and- the broadway musical!!

  • She only played Belle on Broadway.

Paige O'Hara was the voice of Belle in the film!

  • Susan Egan was the voice of Megara in "Hercules," though. :D

  • Susan Egan voiced Megara in Disney's "Hercules".

  • she's so awesome

  • i can tell when she says "unbelievable.." HA!

  • haha love it! i wish they had the song in the movie. our middle schoolers just put on this show and seeing them do this song was hilarious!

"We shall be the perfect pair, rather like my thighs!"

  • Aw, you left out Le Fou and the pig!

  • "Touchy!"

    "Oink-oink!"

  • Great video! :) The song synched so well with the scenes. The ending was hysterical. :) You know, those 3 girls love Gaston. Why doesn't he just marry one of them? Disney Villains never make any sense, lol. :D

  • I love the Disney Villains, but he sucks as a Villain.

  • @Gabychan13 I think Gaston is the best Disney villain. He develops so much through the movie. In the begining you asume hes the handsome prince, until he opens his mouth. Then he's comic releif.... until near the end where he becomes jealous then he becomes pure evil.

  • Disney villians DO nevermake sense.

^_^ that's why Ansem is always so dead set on getting kingdom hearts for his own. He wants to get outta there!

  • i love this song, and also maison de lunes

  • *make fun of him/singing* Ha ha, Gaston got dumped.

  • Is it Yes or is it Oooh Yes!

  • Its a joke running constantly thru the play. I wonder who made it up. But they fit it in there as often as possible.

Like where Belle asks Beast to have dinner with her. "OHHHHH YES!" he exclaimes! LOL :)

  • I knew that, I was just quoting the show. Sorry if I confused you.

  • @traceyblaze I was in a Beauty and The Beast play also and i noticed that too... It was amazing!

  • I love this song xDD It's so much fun to sing along to and it's SUPAH FUNNY!

  • omg!

    i like.. don't like gaston..

BUT I TOTALLY LOVE HIS VOICE..WHOEVER SINGS AS HIM IS AWESOME!!! xD

  • I believe it's Burke Moses, if its from the broadway version.

  • gaston is so creepy and strange

  • "Pumpkin, extend with me"

    XDDDDDDD

  • IK!!!!!!!!

  • @martishkaXbanana Because you just know he's doing some "extending" of his own.

    *cough cough*

  • gaston makes the movie way more funny and entertaining!

  • they so should have kept this!!! are these the actual voices from the movie??

  • no these aren't the voices from the actual movie. they are the actors who played belle and gaston in the original broadway cast. so these are old broadway singers basically.

  • ya ive heard belles voice probably from the broadway

  • the play is a bit different then the Movie, Disney made it cuter I think. It dose go with the play songs very well.

  • haha rustic hunting lodge!! love it!!

  • Ha!!! I love this. Definatley a great one!
