  • @EVONINJA01 Thank you. It is always an adventure down on the subway platform. We are working to release the documentary. It is the legal end that is slowing us down. Enjoy.

  • Keni mate good stuff! I busk in Leeds in Britain, and also busk in Paris when I can, and a few other cities across europe, so now how that goes! love your videos and style! keep it up! also, you remind me of Antony bourdain, must be the newyork thing! aha! keep on slidin!

  • Thank you. Busking on the street is the best. I love the relaxed atmosphere and being close to the people. Anthony Bourdain? That is not bad at all. He is a good looking guy and oddly enough I supported myself most of my life as a professional chef. Many people think I look and act like John Turturro. lol. Enjoy.

  • ah yeah, John Turturro, Especially when he was in O brother where art thou! aha :D man I love that film.

  • Yes, they also refer to the movie, Secret Window with Johnny Depp. lol. Enjoy

  • Keni, you're the best one you know ! I take this video for my page... see yoou soon.

    HarmoJo

  • Thank you. We are still working on this documentary. Enjoy.

  • Very cool. When is the film going to be ready?

  • Thank you. We have one more shoot in early Nov. It should be done hopefully before Christmas. Enjoy.

  • man, that mean old world intro is just too perfect.

whats the name of that song your doing mid-clip?

  • Thank you. I'm playing, The Rock Island Line by Huddie Ledbetter (Leadbelly).

  • Hello Keni.....Can't wait to see the flim. You sound great as always. God bless,

    Big Frank

  • Thanks Big Frank. We just have a little more shooting to wrap up, and then it is off to editting. I know how you feel...I can't wait either. Stay tuned.

  • wow, that's great, I've been keepin my eyes open, but still haven't seen you on the subway yet. If I do, you know i'll kick you down a little somethin somethin.

  • Thank you. I've been busy shooting other parts of the Documentary, so I haven't been down on the old platforms. It's getting hotter now. Less foot traffic. Cold weather and rain make for good time busking.

  • love it

  • Thank you.

  • I can't wait to see the documentary!

  • Thank you. I'll keep you posted.

  • Hey Keni,

Great to see you're still putting it out there.

    Looking forward to the documentary.

Sorry to hear the recession has come to your door, man, take care of yourself, and the best of good fortune with the new project!

    Rich

  • Thank you. Sad times and the Blues, go hand in hand, but you know that Sun is going to shine in my backdoor someday. We just got to keep on, keeping on.

  • That's awesome Keni. Can't wait to see it.

  • Thank you. I'll keep you posted.

  • this was just great!!,can't wait to see the full documentary and I'm real sorry you missed out with your audition...

  • Hey Keni Lee, glad to see you got the trailer up...good for you. I am looking forward to wrapping up the shoot and hunkering down for the editing.

    Your fan

    George Canzaniello

  • I wish I were there to put a dollar in your bucket. Can't wait to see more. Close enough-made me laugh.

  • You know what they say, it is the thought that counts...so Thank you for the dollar in my bucket. So, many great things happen on the platforms, but it is only dumb luck you catch them on tape. Stay tuned.

  • Kenilee, Can't wait man. Is it gonna be on youtube?

  • Thank you. We will be shooting the final footage very soon. Then it is up to the creative work of Director George Canzaniello for the editing process. Stay tuned, and yes, it will appear here on youtube. I will keep you posted.

  • Excellent..

  • Thank you.

  • mighty fine, so you passed the audition this year Kenilee, congratulions, you well deserve the honour of playing and speading the word,

  • Thank you. Unfortunately, I did not pass the audition again this year. After two attempts, it has become clear to me, it is my audition skills that need perfecting. It is very difficult to generate your best performance right on the spot. The other performers present some tough competition. Only 20 out of 350 win. It is legal to perform on the public platforms. Being part of Music Under New York, you are given a lifetime pass to perform inside Grand Central Station away from the trains.

  • Too cool!!!! Is busking your day job? Where will it be shown?

  • Thank you. No busking is not usually my full time job, but since I've been laid off from work, it's been a good source of income. The documentary will appear here on youtube. I will keep you posted.
