hey guys , have u heard any of these two songs , very old ones, probably some elder may know them . i heard them as a kid from a friend's rare collection. 1st is Ooi maa ooi maa yai kia ho gia , un ki gali mai dil kho gya , sheesha ho to tor he dalon , dil na tora jai .... 2nd one is , aik thi larki meri saheli, sang meray thi wo kheli...... yai mut socho kal kia ho ga, jo bhi ho ga, acha ho ga. Sorry for some selfcreated words in lyrics as i don't remember them clearly.Anxiously waiting reply.
A perfect movie, good storyline, lawless script, fine performance by all,SD's beautiful compositions&above all diretor Raj Khosla's superb song taking(he was trained under Guru Dutt),movie was not a commercial success.May be ahead of its time, may be then audience could not take love scenes between brother &sister, though not real.A scene where Dev saab fixes a flower in Suchitra's hair& says"Phool aurat ki khubsoorati ko bada deta hai".A dismayed Suchutra "Aurat aur bahan meiN farq hotahai".
no no no nobody can sing like mukesh das mathur . i am extremly lucky as i sat in the same room where he was singing with harmoniam .this was 60 years ago and it was in Amritsar where he was spending few days with his brother
@kk10061 wow!! I just love to meet u uncle if u can then plz do...mainae mukesh ji ko nahin daekha par aap sae mil saku to yae maeri khushnaseebi hogi..
golden voice of Mukesh sahab and realy stunning beauty of Suchitra senn!! what a song.!! mukesh sahab sung very few songs for S D Burman..and this gem is one of them
stunning suchitra sen ....one of the real beauties of indian cinema ....and evergreen devanand pictured such high scale of acting with background song and no dialogues but showed wat they wanted................very emotional and touching thanks for this ...
One of the best sad song I have seen in my life. Superb acting , music, lyrics, and direction. I bet on this song as tear jerker. Nazeer hussain is also superb. My tears roll every time I see this song. Hats off.
One of the best songs depicting our traditions, customs and feelings, its the song of all ages, Mukesh made it everlasting, it was sung 50 years ago but still deeply felt and will remain for ever, this is the beauty of the best music
Mein us samay 9 sal ka tha, jab bi mein ais song ko sunta hoon to meri aankhoon sey aansoo behney lagtey hein, mein Indian/Pakistani hoon or ais waqat Canada mein rehata hoon, aab mein 60 sal ka hoon oor yeh song meri tanhai ka sathi hey, Mukesh sahib nein ais song ko Amar ker diaya
All songs of Bombai ka Babu were excellent, but this particular one caught everybody's imagination for its deep meaning to various roles people go through life. Mukesh made it come alive. A true gem. The movie also was off-beat and well-crafted.
S D Burman have used Mukesh very rarely, but when ever he used his voice have given imortal songs. One of them is " O jane Wale Ho Sake to Laut ke Anna" from Bandini. Thanks for this song.
one of the most emotional song on a very important event in Indian marriages. The vidai and awesomely picturised with a lot of emotions. not of family but of the lover
emotional song...love it!

What about Suchitra? She is a beauty, a bengali jadoo at its climax. Alas we could not see much of her appearance in Bollywood's filmaria.

Dev Anand is Evergreen and Suchitra Sen is superb. In fact Maduri Dixit resembles The great Suchitra Sen.

This video is not suitable for minors? Excuse me, who is making these decisions? Honestly, when bigotry runs rampant, values go out of the window
