hey tone king! how does this pedal compare to your jcm 800 does it sound the same, similar or completely different? also how does the r-1 compare to your mesa dual rectifier?

@Marathonmarch stop being a dick. the money the tone god has is no of your business. i think the tone king is a very good guitar player and you havnt watched all he's videos so don't judge he's playing from this one video. rather be grateful that he's not a selfish person who keeps all that gear to himself, at least he make top quality gear reviews and of gear that is hard to find reviews of anywhere like he's amps. if he has money its obviously not urned by sitting on he's ass all day.

Truly watching the tone king is like watching a noisy commercial, and I have watched a few of his demo's and they still suck ass. Besides the player makes the music not the gear

@Marathonmarch thats fine dude everyone has their own opinions. but if you dont like tone king dont watch he's videos and just cuz this is what you see in he's videos that doesnt mean that is he's full 100% talent. and in my opinion tone king makes the music, he may have a lot of gear but he is really good.

I have a question... do this pedals actually emulate while off? like... clean and dirty channel? i don't know if i make myself clear...

And maybe with this question i can make my point...

Do this preamps work as the dirty channels from the original amps?

And i know... what you all guy will tell. "What's the point on having the clean preamp of a soldano amp?" well... i'm just asking, lol

By the way, i got myself a windsor studio from peveay for just 160 euro. I know it's not the best amp in the world, but for the price and what you get (loop, sponge, direct out..). But it's very easy to mod (no need to adjust bias) so now it's time to dig up your videos about changing speakers and tubes again, thanks ttk :D

Would love to see a video where you take one of these AMT's and A/B it with the amp it is simulating. Or any pedal that makes the "Sounds like this" or "sounds like that" claim. I want to see you put them to the test.

I think there would be many people interested in that comparison.

@abassplayer4life He's got some of the amps they're modeled after, so it would be possible. Just in that shot he could do a similar video with the M1 and S1. I think at one point he had a 5150 right?

@smoss469 I've been watching his videos for some time now. He did have a 5150 in the Tone Lounge at one point. I'm sure he could do that. Not so sure if the stompbox manufacture would want him to do that. Kind of like a new car smell and the "new car scent" air freshener. They aren't really that close.

I could. In fact - I wanted to do side comparisons (shoot-outs) with all of these pedals and the real amps, but when I'm doing a pedal video every day (shooting, editing, etc.) ... I am trying to keep the content simple ... and a shoot-out takes lots of prep time (multiple shoots, multiple edits, per video). But yes - someday after this series, I will look to do that. Thanks!

@Ollster Designed to make your amp sound like the tone-stack of a Marshall JCM800. (It's a pre-amp, so despite it's a pedal from factor - it's really designed to drive a power amp, FX RTN or go into a board.).
