th b-25 was my favorite plane of all time. the history behind it was soooo amazing and i just fell in love with everything about it. did anyone hear the WEP or no?
World war 2 US, British and Sowjet warmaterial are underestimated. B26, B25, Lancaster, Mosquito, P51, Brencarrier, T34, KV-1, Stalin tank, sturmovik, M1 rifle etc.
@cancanmaster I think its because of frame rate. e.g. The frame rate of the camera changing isn't in sync with the rotor blades so it makes them appear strange. Its the same with gunshot muzzle flashes. Often the muzzle flash happens between frames so when someone shoots a machinegun for example you get random burps of flame instead of a steady blast on film.
Would love to experience this video without the airshow announcer stepping on what would have been great sound. I know it's pretty hard to accomplish in that type of setting. There's nothing like the sound of those engines. Good job to the camera operator. And God bless our service people especially those guys who kicked some tails in these incredible planes most of which were built by women.
This B 25 flyes perfectly well after so many years it was built, now I see why it became world famous as a medium bomber. The filming job is very good.
Best bomber of the second war. My grandfather flew on it.

pretty cool a dead stick landing. real skills there.
stonecutter270 11 months ago
@stonecutter270 it wasn't a dead stick landing. i don't know why but cameras can't detect movement when props are moving at a certain speed.

What a massive cluster fuck that could have happened aboard the Hornet in 1942...Simply amazing accomplishment...

Thats one of best B25 Mitchell videos I have seen. They made A to J models. I wish there was a B25 in New Zealand.
