im doing an Let's Play of this right now. i suck, but i'm at part 25 and only need 4 more heart pieces, and three more dungeons to go. well, part of it's because there is a 15 minute time limit on youtube now, and i looked up some of the heart pieces.

Where do u find the bird or dove that takes u places

The bird is in the Weathercock in Kakariko Village. You need to go to the Dark World version of the Haunted Grove (where the Flute Boy's ghost plays in the Light World) that is southeast of the Village of Outcasts. You'll meet the Flute Boy in his altered form. He will give you his Shovel to dig for the Flute. Use the Mirror, go to the Light World & dig in the northwest part of the Haunted Grove. Once you get the Flute play it in front of the Old Man at the Inn in Kakariko Village

He will tell you to play the Flute in front of the Weathercock & once you do, you will free the bird that takes you around the Light World.

wats up man? everythin good here. just got done gettin the 3 crystal from the lost woods it was mad easy lol. now i have every item except for the one between the magic bottles n the cane of byrna. dont know wat it is but yeh. one question tho, where do u get the bird that takes u anywhere by just playin the ocarina. that should be really helpful

That's the Cane of Somaria, which you get from the 6th dungeon (Misery Mire). Before that, you have to get Titan's Mitt (a very useful/needed item) and the Blue Mail (which reduces damage taken from enemies by 50%).

If you have the Flute already, then play it in front of the Weathervane in the village & the bird breaks loose from it. If not, then go to the Dark World version of the Haunted Grove & meet the Flute Boy in his altered form. He will give you his Shovel.

Take the Shovel & go to the Light World & dig in the northwest corner of the Haunted Grove & you'll find the Flute. Go back to the Dark World & speak to him. He will tell you to play it once more for him & then turns into a tree. Then take it to the old man in the Inn/Tavern (the Flute Boy's father). Play it next to him & he'll tell you to play it in front of the Weathervane.

I'm curious though. How did you find the Smithy's partner without Titan's Mitt? Did you go in a different order? Or are you playing the GBA version, which may have the dungeons in a different order? In the SNES version, I can only get to him once I completed the 4th dungeon (Thieves' Town Palace in the Village of Outcasts) & have Titan's Mitt which you need to free him from the skulls he's surrounded by in the southern part of the Village of Outcasts.

@wtcvidman I already got the flute n now i remember i saw a video of probably u playin the flute in front of that kakariko village bird statue. i already got the blue mail from the ice dungeon. i think its the 5th dungeon yeh. i guess i did everthing in a different order cause i dont even remember that dude following me haha i was probably high playin this game. but ight ill get to the bird statue part then time to go to the 6th dungeon.

what walkthrough number shows how to temper your sword and how to get to the dark world 3rd crystal?

The sword tempering is seen in Part 43. It happens after you beat the 4th dungeon (you need Titan's Mitt).

The 3rd crystal can be gotten from the Skull Woods Palace. You need the Fire Rod, which you get in the Skull Woods Palace. It's in that skull structure. It can be seen in Part 37.

Have you gone to the Skull Woods Palace yet? There are various parts to it that you need to enter from different entries in the Skull Woods. I'm not sure if this answers your question.

hey i have a question. I just got my sword tempered and right after it was finished i switched to the dark world and in the same house where those temperors are, a chest is in there. and i dont know how to open it. can you help maybe?

That's the Gossip Shop. You have to take that chest with you & walk down (don't dash with the Pegasus Boots since you will leave it behind) to the area that borders the Swamp of Evil. Then use the Mirror to go to the Light World. You'll be in the area bordering the Desert of Mystery. Bring the chest to that guy that stands by that sign & he will open it for you.

How many times can you play that game and get a piece of a heart?

You mean the treasure chest game in Part 29? Well, you can only get 1 Piece of Heart from it. It can take 1 try to get it or it can take several tries. The bigger pain in the ass is the one in the digging game (in Part 27) since there is a pretty big area to dig. That one at times has taken me about 10 tries.

im not old enough to have been around when snes was big but i beat it on gba like 5 years ago and im actually on the part right before the fourh temple in the dark world. (i play it from time to time when im bored)

I saw a special ending to this game that is only in the GBA version where they show shots of the Dark World at the end after beating Ganon instead of the Light World. Did you ever make that ending appear?
