This is an excellent example why corporations should be able to donate limitless amounts of money to political campaigns. That way, companies like BP can throw the next election and soon, we'll all be slaves to a corporation that doens't care about the safety of its employess.
This and the latest gulf tragedy were not accidents. The unbelievable gross negligence is absolutely and undeniably not ok!!!! The amount of money these guys rake in to let their facilities everywhere falter to such an extent makes this no accident!!!! Completely ridiculous. I can not say enough!!!
This Accident tells us the Importance of Process Risk Management and Process Safety in Oil & Gas Industry. Hope the BP Top Management realize that Safety is not Expensive.
As a member of the general public without any affiliation with the petrochemical industry, this video was very well put together with a far reaching social and economic value. Information discovered by this investigation can be applied to many different situations. Hopefully, lives may be saved.
apathy, complacency, disinterest, ennui, un-inquisitive mindedness. you can't just sit in the control room. you need to walk your lines and visually inspect valves, levels, temps, etc. damn shame this accident happened, though.
this is a use full video

BP spends more money fixing the company's logo and eco-green advertising than checking basic valve systems...

Easily one of the best chemical safety videos. Quite simply a must see for anyone involved in the industry. From a UK Wilton Production Technician.
