Good points, but your all forgetting one thing, if we close all foreign bases, we will also be giving the green light to Japan to defend itself as they have not been allowed to have a powerful military since WWII. Beck seems really confused. He claims to be more libertarian than Ron Paul, yet Beck believes in preemptive war with Iran and Iraq. Every time I see his show he is on there talking like a crazy person about how Armageddon with Iran is near if we don't blow them up first. Beck thinks that Ron Paul is a nut but Beck is the real crazy person.

He didn't say he was more libertarian than Ron Paul, what he said was "I'm more libertarian at heart", which just means he's claiming to be mostly libertarian, is baloney. I agree with you completely that he's a nut and just claims to be a libertarian as a gimmick. In the words of that person on Family Guy who was in that book, "He's a great big phony".

Good points, but your all forgetting one thing, if we close all foreign bases, we will also be giving the green light to Japan to defend itself as they have not been allowed to have a powerful military since WWII. Japan is rich and would be fine. Just another reason why we should be pulling out and let other countries fend for themselves.
