Intel GMA 3100 can run Sims 3 generation but if you put in all High in option little bit laggy so put in medium or low also resolution :D

( Not a tech person XD) My system requirements are all up to date and it just is sims 3 crashes. And also, countless other people have the same problem I have. And buy a new one? @Gkkofied LOOK in my opinion its a bad idea XD because of this: Not online ! To expensive expansion pack ( crazy prices stupid prices ) and you can download it online ... even the store item you can download so yeah ... i woundent buy it :P i have the dowloaded version eheheh nad its awsome . but if you dont have problem in payngs 100€ for the game and expansion packs ( 100€ whit all packs and stuff of curse ) so go ahed :) its a good game but gets borring after a few weaks

@TheEvilest101 This is a expansion pack not a game "!!!! expansion pack = you have a game and the expansion pack comes out and you instal it and your game is larger as more things i add lots of things to yout game. and yes you need " THE SIMS 3 " the base game to instal any expansions or stuff packs  :) hope this helps

@caslnor i ddidint understand that. was that a question ? if it was you did never play sims right ?, in order to slep at neigbors house you have to knock at the door first so you will know its nor your house, and in the right side of your character(sim) icon its a button that automaticly makes your sim go home the fastest way many ways to see where is your house so dont fiding it is almost impossible XD hope this helps
