I got a dvd of Cliff and the Shadows 50th anniversary show at London's 02 Arena. . It's the best! !! what a performance. ! You wont regret every minute watching it. How I wish they'll perform here in the Philippines. Paging Steve O'Neil!!!

It was a shame Jet wasnt invited, even if just for one a couple of numbers, I saw Jet a month ago and he was well up to it.

I wasnt happy to see on the tour while Cliff was on stage, Mark was set off stage like a session guy.

But thats life.

Jet Harris left The Shadows under very acrimonious circumstances in 62. He made a decision which was obviously the wrong one. Why should Mark Griffiths step aside for Jet when Mark has been with the Shadows for close on 20 years.

Further, I have seen Jet live in the last several years and he is not that good.

Nostalgia cannot make a silk purse out of a sows ear.

Sir Cliff Richard with the gentlemen of the Shadows thus are in the high society of the superstars as they are Madonna, Kanye West, Beyonce, Black Eyed Peas and the supernova's voices like Lady Gaga, Mini Viva, Mika, Taylor Swift or Paloma Faith. Cliff and the Shads need your help and to buy their new single! more copies need to be bought for them to make it to NO 1!. This is so important as Cliff needs to break his record and have a No 1 in each sixth decade!. You the fans am sure would love Cliff and the Shads at No 1, so why are not more of you buying their song? i am so surprised as so many of you have bought tickets to see them in concert and you can't be bothered to buy their single!

This is what I remember as Guy Mitchells Singing The Blues. In England it was one of Cliffs first big hits and has been rerecorded with several others of his first bigs hits in the new album Reunited. It is the single from the album with The Shadows and of course the theme of the 2008-09 world tour.
