I have a ViewSonic VA903M and i have lost the cable that connects the LCD to the PC so i am not sure if it works but can someone tell me if there is a led there is there a light there that is supposed to turn on when i turn on the screen..

I have tried seeing if the monitor gets hot but it seems not to so i don't know if it works????

don't be stupid... You must be some f'ing superhero if you can see the difference between 2ms and 5ms. Ghosting happens when ms is 6 and greater. So as far as MS is concerned, you just need something 5ms or < ! There is no visual difference and no technical advantage.

If you want an advantage get a 16:10 w/ great contrast ratio, and larger resolution the better (aka bigger monitor). More colorful contrasting pixels displayed and 16:10 = larger field of vision (add inches to sides of view)

i never had a VS that lasted more than a year, they always go out, or the screen turns to a 'Posterized' look, with colors all screwed up, and meshing together. not to mention all the dead and overactive pixels you get. that's why i finally switched to Samsung couple yrs ago.. got two 22" monitors still going strong.
