Probably because it's easier. Duh! I know I go and find my horse on my 4-wheeler, put a halter/lead on him and he follows behind me. My horse is pastured on 200 rolling acres with deep hollows, so why would anyone want to walk all over tarnation to get their horse when you could get a car, 4wheeler or whatever and lead them to the barn?
That horse's whinny is very unpleasant, it's like a screech
