  • this song is so deep, like is preparing me for springtime!

  • exelente radiohead ,sin nada mas que decir desde chile

  • One of the best of Radiohead ever !

  • the song is just perfect

  • This song is kind of like the video for Lotus Flower. The first time I heard it, I thought it was interesting, but odd, and not quite to my taste. But something drew me back, and now I'm listening to it almost non-stop.

  • amazing! every bit is in the rock. madhim

  • is this a cover from jennifer lopez....... i liked the original more!

  • this is rock and so what if you like loud guitar all music is good regardless of its description its entertainment

  • @landonparr I think hes touching off more at the side of Radiohead isn't fully understood by the masses and that really is a shame.

  • is it true that ed o brien wrote this song??

  • @MCshlthead Probably. I mean ultimately they all contribute to the production of their songs but Ed is pretty much the "overall sound" to the band.

  • i'd rather take the staircase than the elevator

  • this and the daily mail go so well one-after-another, either way around, and are both such great songs, that right now i'm just listening to them on continuous loop.

  • He almost sounds like Sting in this track

  • When I tell people I like Radiohead, they say 'We don't get it, what do you mean by that, sir.' and I say,'Well, I don't really know how to say it right' and then they say,'Oh yes, yes! We understand perfectly now.'

  • ahhh the wonders of mk ultra

  • this song is sex

  • do you want collaborate with me?

  • wo xihuan radiohead.

  • this song makes me feel so many things.

  • great!!and never found in another rock band or similar...

  • The guitar on 1:25 and 3:21 just sounds so damn... fulfilling.

  • Bliss.

  • Can't wait to see them when they come down to Miami in a couple of weeks. I hope they play this one.

  • I'm a child of Japan

So I do not know English

But this song is really like

  • @orb69SOL You have fine taste good sir. Your comment is really like!

  • Comment removed

  • @orb69SOL I'm sorry but I laughed really hard.

  • damnnn, powerfull shit

  • is it just me or is radiohead starting to get trendy?

  • @mont293 Define "trendy."

  • @tehcaptainhair define, 'define'.

  • @mont293 Define only has one definition..

  • 18 people took the elevator, lazy

  • @Ciara203 1 guy is telling you to get the fuck off with those comments. What are you, 10 years old?

  • I am a musician and when I hear live versions of kol I wonder what the hell are you doing? and also why it sounds so fucking good and accurate? How many musicians are there? Which pattern is playing each? ... that happens to forget to ask that bullshit and give myself to enjoy these pieces of pop space, complex and beautiful ... for all those reasons I like your comment

  • @lukaletter I agree. Their music is just genius. I can't describe it. At first I thought the sounds were random, but I began to notice the patterns they made and the beats that were mixed as well as the smooth voice which glued it all together. It is a work of art, RadioHead truly deserves an award at the grammy's but of course it won't happen because they don't pay attention to music but how popular it is.

  • they don't miss a hit

  • listening to this I can feel everything I was, I am and everything I wished I have done, the light and the darkness of my life in the same time.

  • @iuliae You're high.

  • @mahavishnuxc I am high in the most natural and simple way, just by connecting to these sounds

  • So smooth.

  • >>>>>>>>>> SO PERFECT!!! <<<<<<<<<<

  • Em this is pure Genesis and I dont mean the band . Its the beginning of something

  • the sad thing about radiohead is that when i tell people i like radiohead, they think i like rock and loud guitar and stuff. if only they knew.

  • @WatsDaWurd I'm glad there are people out there who share in my disapointment of the awareness of this fact.

  • @WatsDaWurd same here

  • @WatsDaWurd Radiohead... I don't think it is what you think it is. "Best of Jonny Greenwood solos" -much?

  • @WatsDaWurd Why don't we have both?...yayyyy!

  • @WatsDaWurd I know what you mean. People think I'm a large fan of 80's and 90's Metallica and Hard Rock. I prefer songs such as All I Need, Codex, or I Will.

  • @WatsDaWurd get new friends

  • @WatsDaWurd Ignorant fools. RH are one of the greatest bands around today! Their funeral if they dont know anything about their music.

  • @WatsDaWurd The really sad thing is that when I tell people I like Radiohead, they start to think of me as some kind of suicidal...

  • @FriedChickenofDeath6: Ugh, I hate that stereotype.

  • @TKOblue That makes two of us...

  • I agree !!

  • (o_-)

  • Radiohead freakin rocks.

  • ombionce

  • ombiont

  • /watch?v=EDyFxjhpIhc if you wanna check out the backwards version

  • Just amazing.

  • This is even better when you know this is live recording <3

  • Amazing...

  • What a BEAUTIFUL song this is!

  • fuckin' great song

  • Radiohead is mine. Radiohead is yours.

  • Cette chansson est énorme! GREAT JOB!!!!

  • Radiohead = contemporary post-modern God

  • Radiohead is like the Flaming Lips.......if the Flaming Lips took themselves waaaayyy to seriously.

  • @MrScottbarker and were good...go back to your cave.

  • wow.. i hope they'll never disappoint me..

  • should be in their last album.

    extraordinary beautiful track

  • I feel like I don't deserve to hear this song.

  • @somewhatd man, you killed me with this ;D

  • @somewhatd why dude???

  • @martin71156 Because it's too perfect.

  • @somewhatd you're sooo right. this song is incredible indeed.

  • How can you hate on such art like this? You should be banned from the internet

  • @danakerman this guy obviously has done zero research and has said that Radiohead is pretentious and stupid. Classic.

  • KING THOM IS MORE . HE HAS A SPIRIT THAT IS POWERFUL. YOUR MUSIC ALWAYS REMOVES THE INSULTS OF THE WORLD THAT DIG DEEPER INTO MY PSYCHE AND YOU HEAL ME. RADIOHEAD. WAY FUCKN AHEAD

  • The most influential rock band since Floyd. Thanks radiohead. Lior

  • The janging noise reminds me of riding freight trains.

Radiohead is back making proper music. Epics.

  • @faster4tec They've always been there.

  • You guys are incredible. It must be a great feeling making this music.

  • best Radiohead song for many years.IMHO...Daily Mail is v good,too,-Thoms been playing that at solo live gigs for a few years. :).Wish these had been on KOL. :/

  • the part from 1:25 is just.....*_____* like in paradise <3

  • Comment removed

  • I like this song... Very much!!!

  • i just love that ride. i cant tell if its phil playing it or if its a sampling of a ride thats been cleverly looped or what.

  • @MCshlthead check out the live version of staircase, they actually had another drum player, Clive Dream

  • @MShabby581 Clive Deamer...he once stood in as Hawkwinds drummer for a while, believe it or not! :)

  • better than anything off of tkol. i also felt that way about these are my twisted words and the present tense (if you listen carefully to mexico soundcheck version it sounds like it could be one of their greatest songs) so typical of radiohead to leave three of their strongest tracks off of the album.

  • Great song .. I love it!!

  • Makes me wanna dance.

  • One of the best radiohead songs i've heard... humble opinion.

  • @str84ever then let's see you make an album better than ok computer then.

  • @str84ever damn.... You're an angry person. It's just the internet dude, no big deal. Don't have to be downright angsty. :/

  • Not to mention i never judge anything until I see it live and after the basement just like with in rainbows i loved it... Yes this is not an epic social commentary musical masterpiece like OK PC or an amazing 2 album journey of life death and spirituality in our times like KID A/Amnesiac and its no just romp htrough the fun of guitar work like Rainbows either. But why should it be. this si where they are and they still didnt make some radiofriendly bs like Pearl jam and NIN do these days forcash

  • @Kenneyification Agreed on all counts bar the NIN part, don't see anything mainstream about The slip of YZ.

  • Comment removed

  • @Kenneyification I agree except for the part about NIN. Its been 5 years since he put out "the slip" I wouldn't consider it "these days." I like Trent Reznor a lot and though Radiohead is by far my number 1 I figured it wasn't really fair to say NIN just makes tracks for cash. After all Trent Reznor had to make an album the way he wanted to in secret (without the record label he was signed with finding out) back in the 90's because he felt artistically confined by the label, just like Radiohead.

  • and considering that he also released "the slip" for free (like in rainbows) it's kind of difficult to use NIN as an argument tool about making music just for money.

  • How is this pretentious?? give me some examples of some music you love and we'll talk> whats pretentious about putting out an album?? or programming and sequencing a few drum parts?? they play it all live, now if it was thom and jonny and damn DJ back there I would say yes pretentious.. but no it's art. I admit i didnt like it at first but as with all great music you finnaly open up your soul and allow these particular vibrations into your energy field. not to mention post 1

  • @str84ever That's your opinion whether it has merits for you. Let ME be the judge for whether it has merits for me, and let OTHERS be the judge for themselves. Personally, the drums are amazing to me. Especially Bloom.. That's the best example. It adds so much groove, and works in a really layered manner, but even more so than, say, layered guitars. But yeah... That's IMO. Don't rule out others because you falsely believe you know all. You don't. :/

  • @str84ever I consider this one of their best songs, so even if it was "bad" it would still be better than 99% of other music being released today. In short: stop your bitching!

  • @str84ever STOP LIKING WHAT I DON'T LIKE

  • STOP SOPA!

  • once again.. thom yorke you son of a bitch.. :)

  • this, it just isn't my Radiohead; the benign sounds of OK Computer, are the sounds of a creative era long gone...

  • @PALUCHMUSIC It's mine.

  • killer track.. love the tune

  • Reminds me of mass effect

  • This unique tune is usually great!

  • I'd say this song took my virginity... but the Live from the basement version did it before.

  • radiohead is full , of secrets to be told...

  • i realise im gonna get bashed for this, but this feels like a 21st century version of simon and garfunkel :-(

  • @pathosapiens

RADIOHEAD are absolutely nothing like S&G

    Try Fleet Foxes

  • Radiohead = LIFE

  • it'll be a sad day when perfection doesn't emanate from this band, still showing the rest what to aspire to

  • Radiohead "Staircase" is featured on Indie/Rock Playlist: January (2012)

    Download here: theindierockplaylistdotcom

  • immense, haunting, beautiful....who else but Radiohead!

  • What if all songs artist left off their albums were so good......wow.... what a world that would be... a world of lost tapes.

  • I'm jealous of their inspiration....seriously. Breathlessly listening. Thank you, guys.

  • Rad.

  • @69idiocy What are you smoking?

  • Not bad

  • Perfect!

  • Comment removed

  • ohhh... there's another boner today....

  • flawless victory!

  • the best..........just for make music so diferent

  • In 2007, I thought I'd never get to see them live.... well, it's 2012, and I have two tickets in front of me to see them in Glendale.... Life's funny sometimes. Fucking love Radiohead. A employee in hot topic gave me a Kid A button for free the other day too. :)

  • why is this band so incredible?

  • First track I listen to in 2012, deservedly so.

  • To the three comments below me... that's exactly how I felt about it, but it's probably my favorite album by Radiohead because of that... every listen gets better and better.

  • Released on Birthday, made my day. :)

  • This is great. The atmosphere. The moment. Finally releasing more and more standalone tracks like The Smiths. Youve been talking about it for years. I want more tunes that mock Steve Wright though, summet common as muck.

  • huge tune. love it. can't wait to see these guys live this spring.

  • I love how Radiohead don't mind releasing songs as great as this or These Are My Twisted Words as stand-alone instead of saving them for their next album. They just know that their genius is never going to stop being there : D.

  • iz a new classic

  • my wife thinks i am out of this planet when i listen to Radiohead...she does not know about art...

  • Radiohead, Animal Collective, and other intelligent and original bands are constantly being hated by idiots who don't have the attention span to get them. Ex. Most haters would listen to a few songs from their albums, when Radiohead took me like 5 listens to actual appreciate the bends, and loads of listens to appreciate AC. The haters label them as "hipster garbage", they are just showing how idiotic they are.

  • you press my buttons

  • @powwerranger If this isn't music, what is?

  • is there going to be a king of limbs part 2?? anyone?

  • radiohead: problably the only thing in the world that would never disappoint me.

  • only well song ...

  • i heard bill hader is into radiohead...just sayin in case anyone wants to donate a fuck...

  • Radiohead are >>>>>> Than you

  • try listening to this with the snowflake effect on

  • @hooluvsthchocolate I did. I didn't hear any difference?

  • The King of Limbs (When you include Staircase, The Daily Mail, and Supercollider/The Butcher) has become one of my favorite Radiohead albums. Every time I listen I find something new to try with my own music. They are just inspiring, the technique, the production. Just incredible.

  • Listening to this on Christmas Day because this is my Christmas number one

  • Amazing work once again. We shall build shrines for RH.

  • It's so sad people doesn't give to Radiohead all the prestige they deserve...best band ever (I mean, creep is like their 33th best song jaja, get over it!!)

  • fuck security

  • Best thing they've done since In Rainbows imo, fantastic!!

  • 9 blinded minds...

  • so good song.....

  • I like this. Sometimes a track grows on you! Not this one. It didn't need to grow on me. Very good!

  • ahhh finally

  • They might be wrong !

  • CHECK OUT MY RADIOHEAD STAIRCASE REMIX!! I MIXED IT WITH TIME BY HANS ZIMMER...THANKS!:)
