no, the JEM-JR doesn't have the same pickups as the JEM7V. Apart from 7V, only the JEM555 has Evolution pickups. Even though JEM555 is also marked as 'JEM-JR' on the headstock, you can differentiate it from the JEM-JR by the pearloid pickguard and Tree of Life inlay from 3rd to 12th fret.
i also have a JEM-JR, but it's an old second hand one still with Lo-TRS trem. Recently, the wood in the trem cavity got busted, still under repairs. Not very impressed, cos i'm not a trem user at all...
