Does anyone know if a 3-D print of this film still exists (or if it was even released in 3-D)? It's so OBVIOUSLY staged for 3-D, throughout the whole film, that I've always assumed it was filmed in 3-D.
@ObediahFults It certainly WAS filmed in 3D, and I actually saw it that way in the theater back around 1953. I'd KILL to see this on my new 55" LG 3D set!
"Red Garters" was a good movie, but most of the theater-going public in 1954 was put off by the "abstract sets" featured in the film- and the big disappointment to Paramount {other than the box office receipts} was that not ONE song from the score was a hit.
"Don't grab the package or touch the merchandise" - LOL! This is hilarious. I ordered the DVD from Amazon right away. I just love Rosemary, but somehow this film had eluded me until now. Can't wait till it arrives!
nope...Rose made 5 films in just alittle over a year 1953-54...By 1958, she had a couple of kids and her movie career had pretty much stopped dead in its tracks.
