  • @hissetveoyna ,I thought he was 16 when he composed this trio! But the exact age doesn't really matter. It's just a wonderfull piece!

  • rachmaninoff was 19 years old when he was composing this piece..

  • @timothkeyyprice At least I laughed.

  • @timothkeyyprice This may be uninspiring to you, pls make that distinction. No need to repeat yourself, some people just do not get inspired but it's ok, we understand :-)

In my opinion, this is immensely melodic and lyrical, an extraordinarily inspired and inspiring piece, and if I may be permitted to add, performed extremely well. Only Rach's trio in D Minor surpasses this composition.

  • The 2nd Piano concerto had always been my favorite until now. I see why they put up the impressionist painting. Oh Rachmaninov, paint my heart with your sublime purple tones of Russian melancholy and beauty!!!

  • Rachmaninov is better than 50 cent!

  • RACH!!!!!!!!!

  • Bomb!

  • I feel kinda cheek-to-cheek with God.

  • Impressionist paintings because the Music has that kind of feel. It is like the music is painting an image. Brush strokes on a canvas..Rachmoninoff may not have been an impressionist but i am positive the music creates an impressionistic image.

  • why the paint impressionist? Rachmaninov wasn´t impressionist, but the music is beutiful!

  • @Ich201094 you can buy it

I don't know where you live but I think they will have it there

good luck!! it's very hard to play :)

  • what i love about this piece and this particular performance is that it is so honest. it is neither pretentious nor sentimental, but simply feels like a poetic ode to raw human emotion at its most refined. Borodin trio rocks!

  • I agree with celloboy13913,

the truman show by phillip glass looks like this song a little bit.

  • Epic

  • phillip glass

  • Yeah, what about him?

  • Viscerale

  • Wonderful!

  • HERMOSO.

  • this music is eternal. digs into your soul

  • I had no idea he even did any piano trios!! I'm in love once again!!

  • At 1'37ish, it's just indescribable...Bravo Mr.Turovsky!!!

  • Epic.

  • This is such a gorgeous piece. I wonder why Rachmaninov never published it while he was alive. It's one of my favorite trios, although I am a pianist, and may be a bit biased towards pieces that showcase the piano well.

  • I think the Borodin Trio really capture the feeling and nuances of the Elegiaque of Rachmaninov, very Russian.

  • You said it very well. I´m the same opinion.

  • The very beginning is probably the best music I ever heard. As if the music would twinkle.

  • It's awesome!

  • This is too good and expressive, russian spirit.

  • Do you mean the interpretation, or the piece itself?

  • Кто играет?
