  • не гоните, а сосите хуй, тупые америкосы! оппозиция есть везде. И только наша пытается ебать народ. не сдамся!

  • я нечего не понял, но да ладно))

  • Belarus is my second home.

I love Belarus. I don't care about Politics. For me, I am a true French Capitalist; and I don't like "Socialism" in any form-

Particularly the one we have here in France-

BUT, as a True Roman, when in Rome, I do as the Romans-

Whatever type of sytem President Lukashenko has, is not important to me-

I own my own little apartment there; own my own car there(A Peugeot), and my wife(Belarusian) and I enjoy a small but nice little business-

    Is NOT Communist Country

  • I've been to Belarus this summer and I believe that the people there don't need democracy to be happy. Democracy isn't flawless as it is a system which enables two idiots to vote out one genius. All they need to do is to have slightly more than a half of the seats. But, indeed some elements of democracy could be implemented there, for instance sovereign courts or autonomous communes. The state ought to not control the economy. More laisses-faire policies should be passed.

  • Here we go again, if you are not like us then you need to change.

  • The opinions expressed in this film are not those of the majority. They are the the opinions a few politically ambitious people who are out for themselves with Belarussian interests coming a distant second.

Why doesn't the BBC go out and talk to people in the street instead of being so selective about who they interview?

James Murdoch is right, the BBC threatens pluralistic journalism and subscribes to the group thinking that is linked to the UK and US Governments.

  • best

  • We hate russia,free BELARUS!!!!!!!

  • Who "we"?)))

  • @BelSerb Bialystok was never Russian. Grodno and Brest should be Polish. Belarus is pro-Polish not Russian.

  • Belostok was Russian to 1917 year, than it was belarussian territory. Learn history or look in encyclopedia.

Who will decide where will be belorussian Grodno and Brest? Stupid guy that dont know history or belarussians?)) Decide your problems, man.

I`m ready to kill eweryone who will threaten independence.

    Fuck off imperialists!!!

  • It was Polish for a long time. The Lithuanian king Gediminas gave it to us.

  • Lithuania was not kingdom and Gedeminas was not king! Learn history, stupid imperialist!

  • @BelSerb Poland isn't imperialist. Russia is! Why the hell do u hate Poland?! Lithuania and Ukraine are friends with PL and LT gave that city to us u stupid asshole!

  • Cause u are pole and u dont know history. Cause u said that Brest and Grodno is Poland. I repeat to u one more: decide your own problems. And better shut up if u dont know that Lithuania never was kingdom.

Belarus is not Belapoland. We are east slavic how russians and ukranians. Poles is west slavic. How we can be part of pole people?

    Why u so stupid?

  • Brest and Grodno have about 400,000 Polish people and you oppress them!!!! Down with Lukashenko! Belarus does not exist! It is Russia and Poland!!! FUCK COMMUNISM!

  • The total population of Brest and Grodno is near 650, 000. How among them may be 400 000 Poles? Include your brain sometimes)) Your political orientation is not interested for me or for belarusians.

"Belarus does not exist!"-are u ill?)) Belarus is one of states-founders of the UN)) And this state is not exist?)) U are ill or clown))) We with friends laughing from u)))))))) :D :D :D

  • Zhirinovsky said Minsk should have Russian governor. There are 400,000 Poles in West Belarus

  • Zhirinovsky is political clown and he can say whatever. One time he said that Lithuaia and Latvia must be destroy by nuclear weapon. And what? He may say whatever. Better listen what said real serious politics.

You can distinguish between 2 cities of the Western Belarus?)) Or in Pland or USA so bad with education?))

  • 2 cities which belong to Poland. The Soviets took it away from Poland illegally.

  • It was in 1939 if u dont know. But Poland took them away from Belarus in 1921 by Riga peace. LEARN HISTORY!!!!!!!!

  • @GaullistFan

We are comming to take our Podlesje and Belastok with it

you are scared i know you are and you know what you really shoud....

  • @RustamMinsk HAHA Polish people are alive and fighting in Brest and Grodno.Belarus is moving away from Russia.

  • @GaullistFan I spend every summer in Brest and, yet, have never seen any polaks fighting ???

Even if Belarus is moving away from Russian defenatly not toward Polska ha ha ha

  • @RustamMinsk Lukashenko has met with Polish minority representatives and also with Polish Foreign Minister

  • @GaullistFan And so what ??? Any way I am not going to spend any more of my time on you. Your problem is that you are sick for the land that you've occupied for some two decades, which indeed was never yours!

And by the way if you want to play your game make sure you give Slovakia its

Zakopany and Tatry. The Gdansk region and almost all of the land to the left of the Wisla River goes to Germany.

If you want to go further just give all your land to Russian and that will be it....

  • @RustamMinsk THere were Slavs in Berlin before 9th century :). Not everything west of Wisla belong to Germany before even partitions. Slovakia was offered Zakopane but never got it. The Gorals that lived there supported being with Poland at Paris Peace Conference. The first fortress built in Gdansk was Polish. Brest and Grodno have LOTS of Poles. These cities either belong to Lithuania or Poland.

  • @GaullistFan

Poland does not exist it is Germany and Russian ha ha ha !!!

Polaks are the most retarded people I have ever met, too bad your country is so small and so poor. Go wash your dishes !!!

Oh and by the way Russian are comming to get your white and red Polska ass !!!

  • @RustamMinsk Baptism of Poland - 966 A.D. I won't say anything about Belarus cause i like that country but you can't say Poland doesn't have rich past.

  • @2reg911 Baptism of Belarus- 988 A.D. I am not trying to saying that Poland doesn’t have a rich history. What I am trying to say is that I have enough of this Polish selfish attitude. Poland isn’t any kind of Empire, nor is it a big cultural of economic center of Europe. Poland is a common and simple European state. Polish should get a map and see their country's borders, and no people in Belarus, Ukraine, and Lithuania do not speak Polish. Stop dreaming of a great Polish Empire does not exist.

  • @RustamMinsk

    LOL! Good comeback.

  • Poland took them because they are Polish cities!!! Fuck communism!!! You have been a loser since 1989!!!

  • Brest and Grodno never was polish by demografic and now too.

How communism connected to me? We are laughing from u)) Why u so stupid?))

  • @BelSerb You are a commie. Brest and Grodno is Poland

  • Brest and Grodno Poland only in your ill brain.

    Prove that I commie)))

  • @GaullistFan

Keep dreaming my Polska friend.... ha ha ha

I lived in Brest for 7 years and did not feel as it is Polska lol

  • @BelSerb look at the friends on ur profile

  • I see only 1 communist. Other are bolivarist, juche, nacionalist. How can they be commie? Or u so stupid and dond know what is communism?))

  • @BelSerb I think you are stupid looking at your poor grammar

  • I`m not living in USA or Great Britain and my english is not excellent. But we speak not about grammar now. I can start speak russian. Will u understand me?))) Can u answer me on russian? I think u can not do it))

U started theme with grammar cause u lose dispute)) U are loser)) Loser and clown that don`t know what is communism and who are commie)))

  • @BelSerb The greatest Belarussian was Gen. Bulak. Read about him

  • Are you drunk??)) Why u always changing the theme?))

U lose dispute. So be man and admit that.

  • A very poor researched article from the BBC. I would have expected something different.

  • guess,EGUwas closed by nobody else ascurrent "political system".

many studs of which are mem of op-ion who don't want tosupport President.well.

I've read about30comments on this video. Many of authors've never been in Belarus, and probably just head smth about this GREAT country onTVorRadio. what a shame guys for many of you, espesialy ((ArtGaul)- YOU better take your words back, otherwise i gonna kick your ass(thats for sure)), to talk so much nonesence.

Thanks eidvis, realy apreciate that :)

  • What gets me is that guy is an admirer of Hitler and yet hes supported by Russia who lost twenty million of its citizens to Hitler. Does that make any sense?

  • Poland and the US only want to ''free'' Belarus to advance their own intrests and have bootlicking ''pro-west goverment in Minsk.

Hell if Lukaszenko turned coat and became ''pro-west/pro-market/anti-Rus sian'' the western media would fall over themselves to re-brand him as a ''democrat'' or ''enlightened strongman''

Remember in the west ''democracy'' takes a backseat to national interests dont kid yourselves about that they'll Belrus like a hot brick once it's no longer useful.

  • Brest and Grodno should be Poland.

  • Faster Belostok will be Belarus again ;)

  • If people in Belarus agree with everything Lukashenko does then why does he have to ban political parties?

  • Remember bitches! Belarus will never be toys and slaves of EU and USA .I like the way it is! USSR for EVER!

  • As I see here in Western Europe the medias are absolutely biased and just working to satisfy the stratigies of the western Bandits like USA and EU. Their main job is to exploit the others by fraud, lies, cheat and threat. Here in Italy is worse than Belarus and they are saying "no serve" freedom of speaking.Unfortunately BBC is the leading in fraud, cheat, lies to exploit the others to steal their properties. BBC IS THE COACTOR OF THE WESTERN BANDITS.

  • ЗА СВОБОДУ ОТ ЛУКАШЕНКА И ЕС-США!!!

    ЗА НАСТОЯШУЮ НЕЗАВИСИМОСТЬ!

  • SAY "NO" to NATO or EU to keep Belarus FREE!!!!

  • Belarus never will be TOYS of USA and EU. We will not beleive big İMPERİALİST lies!

No EU NO USA LONG LİVE BELARUS

  • Well done to you.

The so called "free west" only wants to exploit your country and people. If you want to know how the west treats slavic people just look at Serbian's in the province of Kosovo.

  • Good luck Belarus in a hard way to freedom! Sooner or later it will come anyway.

    Greets from Lithuania.

  • That´s a campaign of EU against Belarus. EU is the hand of US in Europe, responsible for an economic blockade that is bringing a serious embargo to the meat of Latin countries as Brazil, for instance, which produces a meat safe of chemicals and e-coil. Such measures show that EU fears concurrency, a mere protectionist act. Belarus in EU means the enlavery of Belarus as happened in Poland.

  • Enslavement in Poland??? Wow. You really are brainwashed. ;)

  • Are yuu really not slaves? Buch sad : go, die in Iraq-and Poland did. Bush sad : go, buy my fightes f-16, not fucking europian fighters - Poland did. Bush sad: go,give me place for my CIA to punish fucking terrorists-Poland did, Bush sad: go, build me new missile bases,Poland doing now. What is about self-determination??

  • In America, we are free to tell Bush to fuck off. In Belarus, you go to jail or can even be murdered if you dare to tell Lukashenka that his country is not perfect.

  • I'm in doubt about it.I saw how last big anti Bush demonstration was handled by your police))It's looked like very similar to belarus))

  • Sure. Keep drinking your Kool-Aid, pal.

  • Yea, the best argument is to call your opponent is nut or drinking or brainwashed, if you want)) Here, try "anti bush" in youtube, you'll see what your cops actually doing if somebody try to tell Bush to fuck off. Just an example of 1 minute searching.

  • Remember the case of 5 Cubans imprisioned in USA for protesting against imperialis policies of the United States. Now they want to elect an ultranationalist president, J. McCain, the butcher of Vietnam!

UK executed a Brazilian citizen called Jean Charles de Menezes with 5 shoots without ANY justified reason.

  • Oh really? Even CIA factbook recognizes the existence of opposition in Belarus.

    НАТО, ПРОЧЬ БЕЛАРУСЫ!

  • Hard to believe europe is still like this and getting worse.

  • yeah! EHU just won't die!!!

  • most guys speaking is favour of lukashenko are russians who are just obsessed about not letting us frelly decide our fate as Ukrainians are doing now. They want Belarus to remain a russian colony hence all this appraisal of lukashenko who is openly licking russian ass and selling our gas pipelines to russians depriving our children of future financial benefits

  • they must be mentally deranged to support a dictator like that. Molodost moia Belorussia...I love you!

  • I have a g.f from belarus in mogilev

  • I have some friends from Belarus. They love the current government cuz it does not sells the country for West as they did in Ukraine and Gorbatchev did in USSR.

  • I also have friends from Belarus who are waiting for the day that they will be part of Western Europe.

  • Probably some children of Polish aristocracy... Everybody in Belarus supports the current government, except some guys who wanna get a visa to emigrate to West.

Tell your vagabond friends to get a job or study for diplomatic service! ;) very easy

  • I have several friends from Belarus. My country, the Philippines, has had several similar national issues. But we all live in the US now...

  • dbielby -- I posted this and was the person who ran the IRI's Belarus program for six years. The reality is Belarus is a place where any freedoms (including religous, education, press, mass assembly or even private enterprise) are seen as potential points by which people may start to demand changes. Think of the Emperor's New Clothes.

  • @trygveolson I wish to be respectful, but that is not true. There are many Western Investors in Belarus, and I am often in Belarus, 4-5 times per year; my wife and I religious we attend Orthodox services, and Catholic.

Private enterprise is there. But some uninformed western nations have been reluctant to do business there, because of this. And it is unfair, because Belarus welcomes free enterprise too.

I own a small apartment and an automobile. I feel very free there.

    Unfair appraisal.

  • My own concern: I have watched Evangelicals (or Baptists) as they are often generically called in Belarus, lose some of the freedoms that they had gained in the 1990's. For example, some churches I know of in Minsk and other cities find it nearly impossible to rent a facility, and they are not allowed to build new churches! For the life of me I cannot imagine why the government would oppose freedom of Evangelicals in Belarus?

  • Maybe because the religions of Belarus are Catholic Orthodox(majority), Roman Catholic and Judaism.

Westerns, TAKE YOUR DIRTY HANDS OUT OF OUR BELARUS! No orange counter-revolution in Belarus! ЕС, РУКИ ПРОЧ ОТ БЕЛАРУСЫ!

  • Ti prosto loh!!!!!!!!

  • There is no such a religion as Catholic Orthodox. In Belarus we have Russian Orthodox church, actually, that's my religion.

  • Orthodoxes are Catholics, differently from Roman Catholics.

  • Or google for Yuri Zakharenko. This was a police general who said that under no condition he will order shooting into people on the streets. Lukashenko's jackals brutally killed him in revenge.

Can you be polite towards Jack the Ripper, Bin Laden, or Chemical Ali who poisoned rebellious Kurds? They are criminals. And a criminal should be punished.

  • I had not seen this story. I did google his name and the accounts are amazing and should be protested. I think that protesting still should be done with a respectful attitude. I don't think profanity demonstrates superior intellect.

I know many Belarusians who love President Lukashenko, and probably would not believe this is true. I don't know what to say about it, except that it should be investigated and everyone responsible should be brought to justice.

  • Lukashenko is a bloody idiot. All intelligent people in Belarus hate him.

Some stupid post-soviet kolkhozniki support this bastard. Those who have never been outside of their villages.

I hope Luka will follow Saddam into the Hell

  • I am an American who loves Belarus and has been there more than once. I have many Belarusian friends. I find your assault on their President offensive. Many Belarusians love President Lukashenko. He is not an idiot and your comments lack balance.

  • In Belarus there is no opposition!

All these people, whom you see on these screens, hate the country and are ready to sell mother for money American " fighters for democracy! "

    Lukashenko - the greatest president!

And those who participates in "oppositional" meetings, it fuckers punks, drunks and is simple mongrels who have nothing to borrow more!

  • As an American who loves your nation, I find your comments highly offensive. I know many Belarusians love President Lukashenko, and he has done a lot of good things. But there are Belarusians who oppose his leadership. Why is that so upsetting?

  • Come here, try to oppose youself, and you will find out.

  • I remember trying to visit a national parade many years ago. We drove to Minsk and were not allowed to walk towards the street where the parade was happening. It was amazing how fearful the militia was of people protesting. We were just onlookers.

I still don't think it's appropriate to talk the way some posters have on this forum. Respectful disagreement is a better way for all sides.

  • I think you do not understand it amigo. This is not about some extra police control. This is about crime committed by the Lukashenko's gang. Take a look this footage in video responses; it happened next to my house. The guy who remained on the ground after police crack-down was f**cking dead.

  • I could not find the video.

  • Just uploaded. Probably is still processing. Go to my profile, there is only 1 video there.

  • Luckashenko is a fool.

  • I am from Polotsk Vitebsk region and me and most of my friends support Luckashenko and i dont know wtf are you guys talking about clean your own mess in your own countries.... ok thnx...

  • fuck off, you probably dont know that some people were forced to live their motherland after this fucking elections only because they have got different views and about this ecomonics rise is all bollocks so shut up

  • Lukashenko stabilised the economy, doubling the minimum wage through increased supply of currency, reintroducing state control of prices and reversing capitalistic reforms. It was Lukashenko and his supporters that saved the economy of Belarus through opposing wholesale privatisation. It is true that the capitalist world resents this, but it is a lie to say that Belarus's economy has suffered under Lukashenko when precisely the opposite is true.

  • Doubling the minimum wage through increased supply of currency has nothing to do with contributing to economy. Well being of the Belarusians should be determined by encrease in the Gross Domestic Product measured annually and divided by population of the country. Although changes in money supply do cause direct changes in GDP, in no way it can help evaluate of the growth of the economy by itself.

  • The first statement the man makes is misleading. He says that, since Belarus become independent in 1991, it has become politically isolated and has experienced economic decline. Belarus's first independent government (not Lukashenko's) experienced economic decline and a 50% drop in production due to the end of the command economy.

  • ZHYVE BELARUS!!

  • All politicians are corrupt, from small town mayors to world leaders!

You cannot blame the president of Belarus for what he is, a creature of his time. He admits himself that he was heart broken when the Soviet Union broke up and it must have been plain to see even back then, when he was voted into power that he was an old style communist and would hang on to power at any cost. That man is going nowhere he is president for life!

  • Or how about in Saudi Arabia where it is illegal to vote for the head of a chess club out of fear that democracy might become contagious?

Where women can't leave their homes without a male relative?

The country that the British Government mysteriously halted a fraud investigation against when it appeared a $20 billion deal for BAE aircraft might be at risk?

  • Europe cares about people living in tyranny and oppression? HA!

  • Like in China? Where the EU can't lift their arms embargo fast enough?

Where E.A.D.S. can't get their knees dirty enough selling aircraft and building factories?

In China, where people are imprisoned for criticizing the government WITH the HELP of Western companies?

In China, where they're accused of executing innocent people for their organs?

  • The world should take note that the evils of communism are still with us and people who yearn for freedom are still suffering.
