During my stay over NYE 2009 a member of staff did not greet me at the reception desk. I approached the desk and was greeted with a blank stare... This particular staff member answered calls and walked away from reception mid-conversation. I found her general demeanour to be condescending and inconsiderate. Enquires were responded with 1 word answers.  After “checked in” my room-card did not work (another annoyance). The Hostel is clean and young but which Berlin hostel isn’t? It's Berlin...

@jaivenmsn wow.... well when i went the staff were friendly and welcoming. My keycard worked fine. i made good friends, learnt good german, and enquiries were handled quickly and happily. one of the nightstaff came round and told me and my room mates to keep it quiet due to people sleeping. and guess what. he was an MMA fighter. So was I. taught me a few moves for like a whole hour before he went back to his post. dont know which hostel in berlin ur talking about...

awesome place i stayed here for a week with my class on school trip. Room 128 :D. and OMG WHERES THE GIANT POLAR BEAR AT THE ENTRANCE!? O_o

man kann da auf den klo's wenn man groß ist nicht richtig kacken! außerdem stinkts auf den scheißhäusern und die brötchen beim frühstück waren trocken. kleine saufende kinder aufm flur nervten nachts ebenfalls
