Chris, FYI, more accurately, the VTG or Variable Turbine Geometry changes the angle of the turbine blades in the turbocharger to optimize their aspect ratio (effectiveness) depending on engine speed. These internal mechanics allow a single turbo to essentially operate as both a small (little/no lag) turbo and a large turbo (high rpm HP) - getting the best of both worlds without the negatives.

The techart wheels make it look outdated. And the red calipers don't mean turbo, they mean it's a stock steel brake. The yellow calipers mean it's carbon ceramic composite brake.

First turbocharged car I drove was a Dodge Shelby CSX-VNT. Some guy brought it to Buttonwillow. It had plastic-composite rims for less unsprung weight and a variable-nozzle turbocharger. The same kind of turbo technology that this car has :D

The Turbo is such a crazy car to drive. When you floor it, it's fast immediately, but nothing special....then the turbos kick in and you sink a few inches into your seat. This was the first turbod car I drove and it was a wake-up call for sure. It's a total joy.
