  • also... i know I replied a lot mostly to users but for professional results DONT USE THE MAGIC WAND, it does a terrible job on edges and doesnt know what to delete, best to do this with the eraser tool.

  • tnx ..... nice

  • when i press delete it deletes the unselected part too.WTF?

  • God Bless u :))))))

  • When i do it it truns to yellow background :S

  • @anasshah11 its your other color selected, so for example if your first color is black and your other color blue ... when you delete blue will be your background color. I've done this a long time to the point I've made money, so if anyone wants tips to get better at photoshop let me know

  • When i try to save it, it wont check "layers" so the transparency will not follow with the saved file...Any hints here?

  • @Felldeeen91 save as a GIF, I don't know the process 100% but a PSD will save it in layers so you can open it up later and do some touchup work when needed, where as with a GIF I've seen many people do this online where if you open the image in photoshop with no background its transparent.

  • thanks for the tut =)

  • k... I knew that one... now how do you do it with a more advanced background?

  • :S magic wand sucks for nearly all images, leaves white particles on 80% of images

  • @destinystruth Use the pen tool and create a path around your image. Afterward, you can clean it up using other features and techniques. You’ll end up with a better quality piece.

  • sry i didnt hear it clearly..which key should i press after selecting the background?

  • your sound is so sweet =)

  • So how do you put another background.. ?

  • @gettinaway7 dont you know its easy to put another background just drag this or grab your chosen background

  • @gettinaway7 find another background, open it in photoshop, then go to file, place, and select the image you want and there!

  • @gettinaway7 , that"s not complate tutorial

  • @gettinaway7

new background = add your new background to photoshop, select the grabbing tool and just paste it into your picture you've cutted out the background before make sure that the new backgroundlayer is in the bottom of the layer pannel. done, ok acctually not almost, there are many corrections to do..

  • @gettinaway7 you add a new layer behind

  • @gettinaway7

well open another "tab" of photoshopCS3 and draw a BG. then save it. after you did that, go in the other "tab" and make a new layer then paste ur BG there. after you pasted it select and copy the thing tht u erased the BG from and paste it there. you're done! :)

  • @gettinaway7 open new layer and paste it in

  • @gettinaway7 put the second image in a layer, and place that layer below the one with the cut image

  • thank you so much! i was using the laso tool and pressing delete and i couldn't figure out what was wrong. but thank you!!!!
