@evahill38 You, and a lot of people. Since they hit the scene w/I Want You Back, my sister, friends & I would catch them every summer during the 70s, before they left for Epic. We were fortunate enough to see them as the Jacksons in 1978, which was the last time I saw them together, but minus Jermaine. As a group, they still knew how to turn it out. That's why, when MJ passed, memories of when I first saw them in '70 came flashing back. Jermaine sang his songs beautifully in live concerts.

@macknati I really second that. Again, as talented and loved as Mike was, Jermaine had it as well. He was very good on ballads, even up-tempos - That's How Love Goes. My older sister loved Jermaine, and of course I loved Mike.

I love Mike too, since the very first time I saw the J5 in concert, but not all songs were made for Mike (no offense). For example, the song "I Found That Girl" probably would've been made in a whole different key, if Mike took the lead, which may not have had the same success, as it had when Jermaine took the lead on that one.

@nutothis1 I've been sayin' for years that Jermaine is underrated as a vocalist. If I'm not mistaken he was the original lead singer until Mike took his spot. Joe Jackson probably heard him sing and saw him dance and thought "Jackpot!" Back to Jermaine, you know who reminds me of him vocally and some people think I'm crazy when I say it? Mario.

@oskamadison I strongly agree w/u!! The same goes for Berry Gordy, who had a knack for showcasing only certain members of the group(s), instead of realizing the various talents among the group(s). Jermaine had a very soothing voice. In fact, Mom Jackson once stated that Mike wanted to sing like Jermaine, as he looked up to Jermaine as far as big bros go. BTW, I probably heard of Mario, but refresh my memory. Lastly, Jermaine was a great producer - Switch, e.g.

This was my first album i was 8years old.Michael was the most handsome young man.Even with the changes he went through with his face to me he was still handsome,really i thought he was beautiful.The long black wig was hot on him.Not many black men could have worn that wig and look hot, but Michael did.
