@92flamestang Couldn't have picked a better company for a drag spoiler, I have a southern outlaw spoiler on my notch. They are great and hold up quite well
Going to put an 8 point roll bar in my 1979 Camaro. Nice job on yours, looks very professional! I raced dirt track stock cars in the day so I know how much work it is to install one of those Roll Bars.
good job on the cage dude. is that your first cage install if so you did a good job on all the miter cuts and welding. what was the size of your welder you were using pro mig 175 or a 180 ect. i'm getting ready to put a 12 point cage in my 92 hatch back with a funny car cage for the driver.i'm hoping when all said and done it should take me to the 9 sec braket . with my set up i'll be running. how long did it take you to do just the cage. Good Work. p.s reply thanks.
thanks I used a mig cant remember the amp.I did use 25/75 gas.I would highly recomend a mider box/chop saw and a tube knoch jig.A good hand grinder and cold beer.
I feel your pain if I had it to do all over again i would havesent it to the chassis shop..After buying a drill press and tubing notcher and a miter saw and a better welder i would have come out alot cheaper, but hey i have new toys!!! And i did it myself...Oh and i did the cage and then decided to mini tub it...What a bone head move!
Thanks I needed some help with my seat install

awesome built bro, can you give me any ideas/hint on how to built one for my 95 civic coupe.
ducknbean 2 years ago
buy the main hoop for a civic the rest is cutting and welding.you'll need a chop saw with metal blade and a good hand grinder to make your notches.

:58 is that a 120v welder next to the car? Lincoln 3200? Is that strong enough to weld up a good cage?
