@dandelion1967 yes, his piano playing is an integral part of the stones' sound on Beggars Banquet and Let It Bleed, the two albums that made Sticky Fingers, Exile on Main Street, and everything else possible. the late Mr. Hopkins, may he rest in peace, saw Mr. Taylor come and go. The studio versions of Sway and Winter, show how simpatico and how strong musically Mr. Hopkins and Mr. Taylor were together. Greatest piano duet: Live with Me studio version on LIB, Mr. Hopkins and Mr. Leon Russell.
Wow! Never heard SBA live before. All electric, too. I must say it sounds better done on acoustic guitar--preferably Keith's Gibson Hummingbird. Nice post--such a cool rarity. Stones are the best!
This version of 'Sweet Black Angel' is simply remarkable and I never thought the boys did it it live...Thanks to Kleermaker1000 for sharing this extraordinary and RARE gem!
@stercoraniste333 your right! In fact i don't even think of it as terrible anymore! It seems right!....well, up to a point. I have heard a few bootlegs that were unlistenable but that's only a few where there recording is just trashed
thanks for posting...I'm not sure I've heard this version of Lovin Cup...it's one of my favorite all-time Stones song. Wish we could hear Keith's harmonies here, wonder whether he was even singing?
This version of Loving Cup is from the Vancouver show, June 3. They played LC only 4 times during the (beginning of the) 72 Tour. I've heard them all on boots. Keith is only on one of those 4 versions audible, during about 5 sec. and very, very vaguely. This version has the best (sound) quality of them all.
BTW: Richards doesn't sing on Sweet Black Angel either.

The more terrible the Rolling Stones sound, the better.

Appears I had a ' Homer Simpson moment ' : Doh !
As soon as heard the second song, I realized my ' mistake' !
Then I realized a second ' Homer' situation; I spelt ' Angel ' wrong ~ ' Angle ' !
Thanks !
