@pdeleon102004 If in Sony vegas, you right click the video and press fix to output ratio, or something like that.

You also need to check a box that says stretch to fit edges, in the render save area.

Uhm, i think you just gotta have enough views/videos up. I got approved for videos longer than 15 minutes but I don't know how I did it. So i'm guessing that it's from my videos and/or views.

yes finally. it is 1280 x 720. so no more black borders. i checked the yahoo answers but they said it was 640 x 349. so i tried it. It still had black borders then i tried this and it was great !

@Deppowns2426 You might have held the CTRL button and scrolled the middle Mouse Key.

If you scroll the middle mouse key down, while holding CTRL you should make the font size small again. Hope that helps :)

@OprahNorris You have change the aspect ratio in the program you use to make videos in.

Change it to like 640/360, or 1260/720.

i am recording using an easycap but there is no 640x360 opption so what should i do becuase my video allways seem to have black bars either side of the video

Look for a 1280 by 720 option or multiples of that.

That's the same thing as a 640 one.

If that doesn't work or you can't use that option, go into your video editor and manually change it's aspect ratio.

Your video will look a little off center but it's the only other choice you have.

Preferably you should change it to 640/ 360.

im using an easycap dc60+ and capture using showbiz2 my setting on showbiz 2 are frame size 720x480 (there is also 720x240, 640x480, 640x240 and so on) output size 720x480. i then edit my video in windows movie maker and have changed the aspect ratio to 16.9 and then when i save the video i edit in movie maker i go to more settings and choose windows media HD for xbox 360 (6.9mbps) which changes the display size to 1280x720 but i still get black columns any ideas (i use vista by the way)

I'd use something other than movie maker.

Something like sony vegas.

Besides that I don't think anything else can help you.

So....If I set my videos to 640x360, they'll fill out the whole player screen...Instead of just being in the middle of it. Or is the setting for that 1280x720?

If you set it to 640x360, it will fill the whole screen.

You don't have to fill it to the higher setting.
