Why don't they put Taniguchi in more episodes. It bores me that he doesn't show up much in the episodes. They have him on screen longer than what they do in the episodes. Why make the voice actor sing songs if he rarely shows up apart from when they need someone to do a silly pun which makes Kyon look stupid.

How come in the first season Emiri got a cd if she only appeared once. But Taniguchi appeared more than Emiri. How come Taniguchi didn't get a cd for 1st season. And how come Kunida and Kyon's Sister didn't get one for Season 2 cds. O_o

Emiri wasn't really in season 2 or Disapperance.

Kunida is hardly a character, unlike Taniguchi or Emiri.

As for Kyon's sister and Taniguichi? Who knows, maybe they weren't available, or didn't seem good enough to get the cd for their respective season.
