Heh, i actually loaded this up on my Amstrad the other day and finally decided to finish it. As soon as you finish level 8 you just go back to level 1. :S
Yeah I didn't like it enough to even play it back in 1990 or whenever.
They really went all out for this song though, didn't they? A two-minute, twenty-second loop for something you only hear on the title screen.

@BagOfMagicFood Yes they did and I've heard even longer title tunes, one in particular is Overlander which has a title tune lasting seven minutes!
