As much as I dislike Sophie for ruining things, I can't ignore the fact Mark is to blame for his own unhappiness. If he hadn't screwed her when they were already broken up, she'd be out of his life forever. But no, he had to have his last run with her, which is oh so typically Mark.

This show has become so hopeless and the characters so unlikable that it's really difficult to feel any suspense, or really any emotional investment at all. I'm glad Dobby escaped. Be free, likable character! Be free!

And I speak rewatching 1-6 on something of a spree (as I believe is the usual manner of watching Peep Show!), and the drop in laughs and quotable lines from 5 to 6 is incredibly noticable.

People who are saying it's less funny are very right, imo; those of you laughing "uncontrollably" at Mark's raw anger puzzle me, that's hardly the humour of Peep Show. Which humour is rather lacking in this series, which is not necessarily to say it's (much) worse than the previous, just that there seems to be more emphasis on the drama and as many have said, the incredible degree of cringeworthiness, which is something it definitely surpasses earlier series in.

Sofie is an ugly hag with a really bad character who sleeps around with everything that moves - pure Jerry Springer material. How could Mark be so dumb to get involved with her after he did the right thing with her when they separated after the wedding. Nothing good came out of their relationship ever, problems in bed from the start, emotional hell and such a boring relationship at the same time.
