damn nice catfish there!!! but there is a paylake in chatam,il that that would be considered a average or even semi-medium size they have one in there that was put in at 98 lbs 10 years ago and is still in there they throw back anything over 20lbs ive caught multiple over 50lb myself and there is flats blues and tons of channels also 1 spoonbill that is well over 80lb check em out maybe leasure lakes its fair price as well 8 or 10 bucks for day fish and 10 or 12 for night fishing

thanks partsmunkie. i know when i went a few years ago it was like 6 bux for 12 hours of fishing and i was catchin nice ones all day. if i am memberin right i think they used to stock it with bout 2500 lbs. of cats every other week and it is a great place to fish, i just could'nt member the name of it.

Well it used to be called Spencer bait and tackle. But they jus put up a new sign that says under new management. This is suppose to be a great lake to fish as the owner would buy your catfish back from ya. Soon as i see a new name of the place i will let ya know.
