It all comes down to politics and money. Medical marijuana gets lots of press because it's scandalous in the eyes of mainstream America. Industrial hemp SHOULD be getting even bigger press coverage. The farmers should push hard for it. The huge paper companies should lead the way in making the change from wood pulp to hemp pulp. Big companies get a bad rap, but they are the ones that have the ability to really make a massive change for the better. And they could profit from sustainability.
