Interesting how he never mentioned the Yo-yo powerup from Kirby Super Star. Kieby got a hat like Ness's, but backwards. One of the attacks with the Yoyo powerup is identical to Ness's USmash in Brawl.

Also, when fighting the "Computer Virus" in Kirby Super Star (in either the Great Cave Offensive, Milky Way Wishes or Arena games) it plays out like an RPG battle - that being said, when Kirby attacks, it says "Kirby's attack!" like EarthBound / MOTHER 2. ;)

If you check either in the 64, or Melee and highlight the name Makiko Ohmoto, you'll find that she is the voice of both Ness and Kirby.

Anyone who's played up to Brawl would probably have noticed anyway.
