Personally I think that group B should not have ended because of this tragedy. You see the other videos and the cars are going perfectly. Honestly, I think Henri and Sergio (RIP) would be much happier if Group B had of went on, only the cars to be made safer.

There were a lot of reasons for Group B to have been ended and Toivonen's death was the final straw. Oddly enough they also killed Group S which was resurrected as the WRC car in 1998.

Such as the deaths in Portugal, Bettega's death a year earlier and Ari Vatenen's crash in Portugal? Still though, if there wasn't a recession I think Group B should be resurrected, I mean, even look at the amount of spectators (bar Portugal, that's stupidity) it attracted, compared to today.

Exactly, you only have to look at Latvala's roll down the hillside to realise how safe the cars actually are, and advancements in Tyres and new composite Materials for safety, it would work.

Sad and quick ending to the best motorsport ever. You've made the definitive S4 story. It's a wonder if a racing fuel cell was used instead if they would have survived. Either way, they'll be immortalized from dying doing what they loved

I'm quite agree with the opinion that the B Group did have to be ended one way or another. But it's better to ban a category for commercial reasons (like the WRC rumored to be) than because of series of gruesome fatal accidents

We had one episode in a local rally in Norway this summer,where one of our biggest talents flipped and killed a 10 yr old girl.His driving-future is in jeopardy for sure.....He will never be able to push 100% again probably.
