  • Great Videos once again! Espicially liked the shot of Smokey Joe at 7:51, watching the loco coming down the long straight, moving about from side to side, up and down.

    It's a very accurate depiction of how a real loco moves about while traversing a route, something of which I have come to realise over the last few months volunteering on the Bluebell.

    Nice to see other parts of the line in more detail too.

  • @SirSim25 Thank you very much mate. Yes I understand what you mean about the movement. We have a Peckett on our standard gauge line with huge outside cylinders meaning that when its working hard it shudders from side to side! Then of course the short wheelbase means she bounces on near enough every joint! Great stuff!

  • @RASDV This is different because the less seen parts of the line, such as the usually "freight only" part between Chilvers North and Sutherland South. Hope you enjoyed it.
