@Dasconscripts What did they say exactly, and when was this? The only bosses in ICC that I would describe as "easy" are the first four, and in TOC, the Valkyr and Anub'arak can only be considered easy by virtue of how much harder Beasts of Northrend and Faction Champions are.

Or is "easy" meant to imply that more than 2% of the player population can get past them? By my estimation, less than 20% of the player base has reached the Lich King, and less than 10% have defeated him.

Lich King Sindragosa and Proffessor putricide all were quite difficult heroic mode for most are difficult but they made Icc to accessible

back in the day(sunwell) was when it was hard to get into raids because content took time, they need to figure out how to make every raid as good and as special as say Ulduar and Karazhan were, those were spectacular

Just a tip to all other players raiding Ulduar and still on this boss: Get a rogue. Their kick ability interruptes the Searing Flame and it got a 10 sec cd, so you can kick every 10 sec. Just remember to do that, if you're a rogue ;)

Also since the placement of the Vapors is very tricky I kitted Vezax to the vapor as we killed them so that range wasn't an issue w/ my healers. One more thing I wanted to add, if your a warrior or paladin tank and your main tanking this fight you need to kite Vesax around while hes under the effect of "Shadow Surge" an ability that can be healed through if your a Death Knight tank using "Icebound Fortitude" or a Druid tank such as the case of myself using "Barkskin". To anyone watching that watched this: I can't remember if he said in the video or not but my guild just done this fight tonight and the "Saronite Vapors" that appear during the fight are limited to 9 total and must be used only when your healers and casters are all around 45% or less mana for the most efficent results. We waited to kill the vapors until we needed them (Marking them seemed to help) They have a low amount of HP so just have your OT kill them while the DPS focuses on the boss.

what I'm saying is that warriors are worst tanks on this fight...

Hi, fellow paladin here, Im afraid as far as that technique goes you wont get much back from it, and should only be used by retribution paladins when desperate as the loss of healing for a mere 2% mana back here just isn't worth it. The best you can do is learn well the rotation of vapor use within the healer groups.

It is worth mentioning that iceblock and Paladin bubble will remove the stacking debuff from the mana pools.

On this fight i ensure im on full health (around 21k raid buffed) stack 7 stacks and immediatly iceblock as soon as it hits seven - you can then remove iceblock and blink out of the puddle and bandage urself and recieve 1 heal. - You now have almost full mana and health thanks to our nifty friend iceblock - with coldsnap you can do this a number of times.

Good arcane mages should know how to manage mana ;) yes it's more to pay attention to but I've topped the damage charts on this fight easy as arcane because we have such ridiculous burst damage, giving us an advantage when using the shadow crashes.

What my guild does is, if needed, that we use Dark Runes to recover a bit of our mana. Dark Runes can be found in Scholomance and take a portion of your health and turn it into mana.

Hi w1mq. I am not from tankspot, though I'm willing to help you. You do have to spread out, for avoiding the massivity of the debuff.

Whenever a DPS is hitted by the debuff, make sure noone is in range of him. I regret that I am unable to tell you how big the range is.

bael the best spec for this fight is a Frost bolt spec ffb is second best

the fros bolt spec coats 3% mana per frost spec and u can get 40secs of 20% haste becuase of cold snap

Well, they're using the old DK method when you could easily absorb enough damage on the Surge of Darkness by syncing it with Icebound fortitude. Now that IBF is 2 minutes, you have to kite every other surge.

I am a protection paladin but how does hand of sacrifice work?

He mentioned the hand of sacrifice as a "helpbuff from others". In my guild this is what we refer to as "The Bubbletrick", basically, you have a holy paladin using hand of sacrifice while using his bubble, the bubble will mitigate all the damage taken from the hand of sacrifice and the tank will take 30% less damage, the only ramification being that the paladin will not be able to use wings to increase healing, or bubble to avoid damage. Hope this helped

Couple notes. Do not kill saronite vapors after they spawn because theres only 8 thro whole fight so if you kill em all when you dont need em its huge waste. But dont leave all 8 alive at same time 'cos its hardmode activation. Also we oneshotted him yesterday by just making caster DPS wanding him when there was no shadowcrash puddle. On puddle we nuked hard. So onyxia-type tactic mixed with this situation. It was easy to keep up with enrage timer, in "just" uld10 gear, so dont worry about that.
