Although i am a cub fan i totally agree, game was exciting. The most electrifying game of the year at dolphin stadium. Baseball game that is :)

Florida is a state full of transplants. You guys have to remember it takes a long time to build a fanbase. Teams with a lot of history such as the Dolphins, Yankees, Cowboys, Lakers, etc. have been here for a while and established a fanbase. I guarantee you if the Marlins get a new stadium in 2011, that in 10 years the Marlins will regularly be packing 30,000 to 35,000. I mean before the 1998 firesale, we were averaging that.

Nice video. Sorry it was not the Cubs night though. I was at this game as well. Lots of Cub fans. The fans without the Cub jerseys that I was around were going for the Cubs. But when Marlins were winning they started cheering the Marlins. Once Derick Lee came to pinch hit with bases loaded same people went back to cheering cubs. When he grounded out they cheered marlins again. But this is miami for you. This city doesn't deserve championships. No true fans. Maybe the dolphins. And thats a maybe.
