  • Secularists are right - God retired. He passed on his creativity to Hella

  • i'm epileptic -__-

    this song is good though.

typically its a stereotype that flashing lights and shifting colors give you seizures.

  • I'm epileptic and I love Hella- feel them in my Aura's!

  • I'm epileptic and I love Hella- feel them in my Aura's!

  • just become epileptic but i love the video anyways

  • overdose of saliva..

  • Rehearsal situation: "damn you guys, I made a mistake on the last part, let's do it again!

  • 3 people are epileptics.

  • The vocals sounds like a cross between Cedric Bixler from TMV and Nathan Willett from Cold War Kids.. To me that is.

  • This video gave 4 people seizures

  • @trogdororeo MKE THAT 5 AHHHHHHHH GAGAGAAGAGAGAGAGA AAAAAAA TONG SWALLOWED

  • This is great... I just discovered it, awesome.

  • Drink some PCP and watch this.

  • Comment removed

  • @vDreeams

just drank a gallon. feels good man

  • @yatusabes21

    GREAT!

    :D

  • without any doubt the greatest sound ever to pass through my ears.. Hail Hella!

The only time a human being is truly free is in times of anarchy!

  • best song best video the best

  • Okay, there has to be SOMEONE out there who is having a seizure to this right now.

  • ME :D

  • This video is the closest you can get to an acid trip without the acid.

  • This is the best video on YouTube. Fucking trippy ass visuals.

  • anarchism is an inner revolution. anything outward, and yer missing the point, or what you believe in isn't true anarchism.

  • hell yea!!!

  • everyone here is a retard except me.

    i'm cool

  • After reading the comments, I'm compelled to make an album and make every track name an insult about anarchists, just to fuck with them.

  • Probably the best song from the album, I just fucking love it. I feel like the entire album is underrated. People keep saying that Hella was toned down with vocals added, this song is an example that Hella kicks ass on this album.

  • its like closing your eyes on acid

  • during a very bright rave party

  • epileptics dont like hella

  • I like cheese! and this song :)

  • could you not argue that anarchists would like to have fun...but they are being prevented by their environment/society....?

by the way...all you bitches who argue look stupid...even if you made a good point...you still look like an idiot.

  • lol@all the comments.

  • As long as idiots and villains exist,

    anarchy will never work.

  • I'm an anarchist, and I'm allergic to fun. If I enjoyed fun, do you think I'd spend so much time talking about consensus process and holding signs and shit? fuck no.

Libertarians seem to be into fun, since all they wanna do is smoke doobies on piles of money and listen to industrial music all day.

  • LMAO. You rock.

  • Anarchism has "worked" in the Ukraine and Spain, not to mention the communes of medieval times. there will always be screwed up people, thats why anarchism works, its how anarchist theory started.Contrary to some of what these yahoos that call themselves anarchists write, it is not a utopian philosophy, by removing state power we remove the vehicle for all kinds of corruption and abuse,by returning participation and choice back to the people we simultaneously promote more constructive values.

  • The occupied factories out in Argentina are working pretty well too.

  • I agree, but for the most part, people are just too dumb to not be governed.

  • i struggle with that from time to time, the thing is alot of the stupidity we see today is the result-either directly or indirectly-of the state, its programs or our consumer orientated culture, of which an enormous amount of resources and money are directed to uphold-once these influences are removed things will improve, mass trends of stupidity & social pathology usually have a systemic cause.direct participation, instead of passive observation, can change a people within a generation

  • read john taylor gattos book on the underground history of educaton you'll find throughout history gov.'s have used ed. to control the people, ours is the most successful to date-its why other gov's are buying our design, also, check out a doc."the century of self"about the use of psychology being applied to advertising after its success on U.S people in WW1 and the birth of the PR industry, creating active consumers that identify with products & passive observers in the political arena

  • john gatto also wrote dumbing us down, also check chomskys 'spectacular acheivements of propaganda'.alot of people think theres some big conspiracy but its actually much simpler-did you know compulsory ed. met with resistance when it started? now its so common few question it,or the fact people equate their identity with their consumer tastses?T.V shows dont even target mass audiences anymore, they target consumers, and let social pressure do the rest, not enough space to really lay it out here...

  • @kviapunx "education" turns people off from knowledge.

  • Also the coercive nature of opportunity would change once people began having a say in those choices that affect them, without a gov. to coddle and bribe them and do their thinking for them their relationship with cause and affect would become a reality rather than an abstraction-and working within and with their communities would erode the superficial divisions we currently deal with, creating opportunity for intellectual and emotional growth.Ever see Idiocracy?Thats are future without change.

  • Hey, thanks for the recommendations, they sound like some good reads. It's really refreshing to find like-minded people to talk to, especially at random. But then again, it probably wasn't random. Just my opinion. I did see Idiocracy and thought it was funny as well as scarilly possible. My theory, as long as we continue to be governed, is that people will get a lot dumber and a lot smarter; the margin between will grow greater and greater.

  • the idea is that everyone will have within them a guiding moral code. With an unfaltering respect for all life, the need for authority will be eliminated.

  • if people are decent theres no need for social contract.

  • That is just ignorant. A great dream but will never be true thanks to the seed of greed.

  • have some salt and lime with that

  • So humans cannot survive and prosper together without someone forcing us to do so against our will, for a profit. We should then thank the capitalists, the politicians, and all the ruling classes who came before them including God the first King, for making the Earth capable of supporting human life. Sieg hail!

  • my eeeeeyes!!!!

  • 0----------999999999999911111111111 ? what about how about why?

  • By the way, this song rocks and Hella are amazing! rock on.

  • at the drive-in called

    they want their style back.

  • nah. the grooves are more bizarre in hella.

  • huh, these guys sound nothing like at the drive-in.

  • i think they do imo. please dont start a fight.

at 0:37 (ish) it sounds like cedric from ATDI/the mars volta

  • This band writes much more complicated music. Go listen to some earlier albums without vocals and you'll hear it more clearly.

  • yea i made that comment 10 months ago. i had no idea about hella then.

i've learned to ignore their newest album.

hold your horse is, is amazing. i love the old hella now.

  • Right on. I've been entranced by The Devil Isn't Red. If you can, check out the dvd of their Japan tour for the album.

  • It's a song name. calm down buddy..

  • did you really believe girls just wanna have fun?

  • Anarchists DON'T just want to have fun.

Anarchists oppose the hierarchical means of social and political structure and they advocate an equal, free, horizontal organization that brings liberty and equality to all.

  • did you just copied that from wikipedia lol?

  • lol

    No, look on Wikipedia.

Anarchism is a legitimate political philosophy. It makes sense.

  • sure, it sounds good on paper, but it wouldnt last in the real world.

  • Wrong.

It HAS worked in the real world, in the 1930's. Jesus..

  • Well tell that to somalia.

  • Somalia is not anarchists, they have a transitional federal government that is crumbling into CAPITALIST chaos.

  • Yeah dude, anarchy would be so cool, everyone would be getting killed and raped. I wouldn't even have to work or go to school anymore, I could just live my life in fear.

  • If your intention is to kill and rape if there were no brutal police to stop you, I suggest you check yourself in to a mental institution.

As for me, I wish to freely cooperate with other egalitarian individuals, democratically running the workforce instead of having CEO's decide what is best for me.

Sir, I believe in order. I believe in peace. I believe in anarchy.

Go read about it, you clearly have no education on the matter.

  • Oh, well that's nice. Too bad greedy Americunts will never follow through with any of that.

  • I'm an American and I'm an anarchist, willing to be equal to my fellow man.

Greed is a social construct, it is created out of the environment/atmosphere you live in -- it is not human nature.

  • Sorry KenCat, but greed is a primal instinct, not a social construct. The peaceful anarchy in your head cannot exist because of that instinct. And no, it did not work in the 1930's. lol.

  • Greed is not a primal instinct. Just because today's society is greedy, it doesn't mean everyone is -- I know I'm not.

Look at organisms, bacteria, ants, bee hives, packs, collectives, communes, syndicates, co-ops, etc.

Just because you're greedy, it doesn't mean I am.

And yes, anarchism did work in the 1930's. Look up Anarchist Catalonia -- you obviously aren't educated in the field in which you pretend to know about.

  • you obviously think you're very clever, and i don't know what point you're trying to prove, but fuck off. please please please. i wanna see comments on the bloody song, not 1930's catalonian anarchy. go and argue on a forum.

  • lol

  • Of course Greed is a primal instinct! Are you insane! Have you ever seen dogs fighting over food even though they both have plenty? Ever seen a lion fight off other lions after it made a kill even though there is enough to go around? Greed is the want for more...money just happens to be the object we want, because it is the provider, just like a lions kill or a dogs scraps.

  • Moriondor, you may have the intelligence of a lion or dog, but I think I have evolved into a human willing to share.

  • FAILED ARGUMENT! First of all, "evolved into a human" reveals a pathetically ignorant of biology viewpoint that humans are some grade above animals. IF you're going to recognize evolution, recognize you have animal insticts too. Furthermore, whether you have the ability to not respond to your greed does not negate that greed naturally arises. It is in your nature to be greedy, and unless you're a fucking Buddha, you're greedy.

  • I've seen a lot of people who aren't exactly "fucking Buddha" (good argument) who actually feel awkward when they ONLY receive.

The people you know may be greedy, but the people I know are caring.

  • the internet: where a man called KenCat1337 just has to talk about his political stance to the exact people who don't care.

  • No, lions fight off other lions because success rates for hunts are something like 20%. They hoard food because they don't know the next time they are goinng to eat. It is biologically false to try and determine human drives based upon other species, especially ones as phylogeneticaly distinct as Lions and dogs. Yes we have "animal instincts" but that doesn't mean that all species have the same ones. That being said I have nothing against the possibility of humans being intrinsically greedy

  • No, you're greedy. I would worship self-identified greedy people over you because at least they recognize their greed instead of denying it. Have you ever desired something you wanted and did not need? You are greedy.

  • to ceXhc: Desiring something you do not need, does not make you a greedy person. it is only when you act on that desire and, even then, it only matters when this gets out of hand (like in our currrent cosumerist society).

  • you shouldn't keep using yourself as the only example for your points. It weakens them.

  • although you may be willing to freely cooperate under anarchy, not everyone else would. humanity as a whole is not free from imperfection; speaking in a generalization, humans are greedy. i love the idea of anarchy, but i dont have enough faith in humanity to believe anarchy can exist on large scales. i believe anarchy and small scale communism can last for 1 generation with a group of willing and like-minded people.

  • It's a strange name to call a political philosophy, if you look at the meaning of Anarchy is says: Absence of any cohesive principle, such as a common standard or purpose. So really having an organised, horizontal, free and equal society would need a structure which would not be Anarchy at all, it sounds closer to Communism but without the hierarchy.

  • Anarchy is the absence ("AN") of rulers ("ARCHOS").

And anarchism IS communism without hierarchy, communism isn't a form of government, it's a philosophy.

  • Communism is a way to structure society, not a philosophy at all, though it may be based on philosophical ideas.

  • you are a fucking ignorant asshole. trust me. please if you are not being sarcastic right now, which i hope you are, then please check yourself into a mental instution. communism is both, have you ever heard of any of the communist countries that failed? or did you have your head in someone elses' butt poop hole.

  • the modern connotation of anarchy is different than any definition will give you... kind of like the difference between how atheism is defined and how it is seen in media. big difference.

  • then what do you think it is? no superior officials? wtf? lol? so is the country going to be run by a thousand and one city hall meetings of you and your next door neighbor? sorry for my earlier comment, it was a bit irrational.

  • it was just a dumb name for a song lol

  • lol Yeah.

  • I never realized how enlightened these guys are. Great lyrics. And Madonna is a satanist for sure.

  • Settle down now...behave.

ALWAYS OBEY YOUR GOVERNMENT...ITS THE RIGHT THIG TO DO.
