This song should have been included on the Beatles Anthology audio CD packages, after all, it is one of their best songs. I was sorry to see that it wasn't. Anyone out there feel the same as I do? Please let me know if you do.
interocitor1... this is in stereo. It was very common for George Martin to record some of the Beatles earlier efforts with all the instruments on one channel and all the vocals on the other. Take a listen to the "stereo" version of "We Can Work It Out". Same thing as this... vocals on one channel, music on the other.
Yes, I did so. But what we here, is definetely NO Stereo. It might be described as a "2 Channel Tone". As some of the early Beatles songs, they put the vocals on the left channel, and the instruments on right channel. This has not much to do with "real stereo".
"In technical usage, stereo or stereophony means sound recording and sound reproduction that uses stereographic projection to encode the relative positions of objects and events recorded [...]" which is not the case here.
Was wondering why you didn't use the ADD mix from the DVD, and do you know the channels are reversed. Also if you pan to the backing track channel,at1:14 time mark, the vocal track slightly bleeds over.

Thanks for this. The upload was part of a package and I take your point that a mix with the best audio would have been better.
