  • Hi Jim,

    a good sport.

I remember me at LASC jears ago!

    Have fun!

You see me at Videos from Aloisinder ;-)

    Friendly yours

    Guido

  • Guido -- It's been a long time, but we still remember and talk about your visit here. Your Swiss Army/IMSSU knife is always in my shooting box and I think of you whenever it is used.

    I'll look at your videos!

    Thanks always,

    Jim

  • i would love to join...... never shot @ steel targets...

  • nice!! its been 15 years since i done this...almost makes me want to get back out there

  • This is a great introduction to shooting steel for those who have never tried it. What a beautiful facility!

(And what an addicting hobby! lol)

    Best,

    Dennis

  • Wow what facilities, you guys (and galls) in LA sure know how to setup an event, you should see our range. We all share 40 targets...

  • You can still have a great match with 40 targets! :) Come visit us sometime.

  • Great video, takes me back to the days I first visited LASC... with all the wrong equipment!

I'm back in the area now and hope to drive up on the 8th of December to get reacquainted!

Hopefully Mike Dewey won't get too mad at me for spitting hot brass into his shooting stall this time.

  • The sport is still around, as you can see! LASC has their annual Extravaganza coming up over the Labor Day weekend -- all the shooting you want, plus two BBQ dinners for $35! The club's way of saying thank you to all the supporters of the sport, rifle and handgun alike. Contact me for more info.

  • Great video ! I have missed shooting silhouettes for many years ... I plan to start shooting again soon :) -Wayne-

  • This bring HUGE memories of shooting SILHOUETTE in South Africa.Currently I'm in the UK and can't do it here. Will come and visit you guys soon.

  • If you can find a standard Contender from a few years back, that would be the best. Look for a 10" 7mmTCU barrel and a .22LR Match to get started.

  • well done, what Thompson contender model would you buy for Silhouette shooting?
