This guy is really good and i can see myself taking a couple lessons from him, i Just wish that he incorporate some fills that are in the pocket as well. Todays musicians think that everything is about chops whether its guitar, trumpet, or drums. Its hard to build something up if it starts of at the top. But this guy has a great feel and some fills i would like to transcribe.

for all dat think his fills are bad or wack.. this is called beat displacement. which is actually a real concept. if u u have ever listened to spanky or chris daddy dave. or even any bands such as chick corea band maynard ferguson(sp) its a complicated style because its on a beat but not but he still gets back to the 1.. n dats wat its all about.. i been playin a minute ,, n also am in school for music in all fields of percussion. i appreciate the offness

This guy OWNZ ALL these other drum lessons, best teacher Ive seen so far on the web, he takes your commonly heard beats, fills, rolls, and accents and breaks it down("slows the tape") and shows it were you can actually play along. All the other videos are over after one or two times through the measure>
