  • we can do it if we get permenant magnet above superconducter .. the currnet will be induced in the superconductor .. thats will generate magnetic field which repels with the pemenant magnet ... so the magnet remains hanging in air :)

  • Hffh

  • @MinatureG dude slow down there tiger.. first we gottah invent such things before worrying about these problems

  • Michio Kaku much be a teacher at Hogwarts because I'm sure he just used magic to do that.

  • Even if we did have hover cars using this principle, how would you propel the car, turn it, or even stop it?

  • @MinatureG Thrust, just like spaceshuttles. Or even changing the temp of the ceramic to raise/lower or even slow the cars down. The real question would be if the cars were magnetic how would we keep them apart once we got to close to someone. hahaha.

  • Where's your safety goggles?

  • @iRonlMoNKleY They green screened them out :D

  • Perhaps we have or can create a material that behaves this way in the coldness of space. That might allow us to travel farther and faster in space without much need for a chemicle propellant.

  • @playfyte good point grasshoppa!

  • brilliant idea lol but how would you prpell and stop yourself?

  • I can fly? really; when shall this ghastly reality become commonplace?

  • cant we harness this energy?

  • "Ordinary" liquid nitrogen. Only a handful of decades ago, liquid nitrogen was first commercially fabricated. Oh how far we've come.

  • Hey..Michael J Fox did it in 2015 on his hoverboard...so we're almost there!

  • its not floating, its locked

  • @ZombieNopali Herp derp

  • Who else noticed that the hover cars clip was from Dr.Who?

  • Cool video but he's wrong that cars wouldn't need petrol. This would eliminate rolling resistance but not wind resistance. You might save 25%

  • Its science bro!

  • The video of flying cars is pushing it quite a bit, and you defnitly wouldn't be flying anything like Superman, it would actually be kinda like dream flying where you just hover kinda trapped a few centimeters above ground.

  • @TiagoTiagoT It all depends on the size of the magnet and the ceramics.

  • Michio Kaku. It's nice that there are scientists like him, who can tell about the science to the "normal people".

  • Science Rules.
