slightly bigger ones and the torque has to be almost perfect for it to run the cd but runs amazing now like new. Didnt want to replace my drive cuz it was made in 2006 and i can play burnt dvd games and movies

hahahahahahahahaha had the same problem i noticed that once i put the disc in it would just click so i tapped it on the top side a couple of times and it stopped clicking and the disc started spinning. Opened it up and changed the spindle hub motor and it runs like brand new now. Not going to lie though it wasnt the easiest thing to change because my 3 screws that hold the motor in place were wrapped in a blue vinyl tape that helps them stay in so when i took them out i had to replace them with

if i press the power button it turns on once i press the reset button it works and when i press the eject button it ejects my just dance 3 game disc and when i put the just dance 3 game disc in my wii player it works. the thing is that is was to wet from the rain.i will play my wii in Jan 19 2012 thank you i hope my wii is not wet and fixed Bye!

@XxGbBrianxX I have the EXACT same problem. (and I was on round 20 to). Does the cleaning kit work because I opened the wii a little bit to see if my siblings put something inside again and nintendo said they wont fix it if it is opened or hacked. Although I can erase the hacks by formatting the wii and install them by brawl.

lol the clicking sound is normal it makes a click sound anyway if it worked. in order to say something is a (whatever) of death it must have the issue incloded in its death statement. Section 2 ohio revised code of properly naming broken consoles

the drive is just jammed in the open position just open the wii eject the drive as well as pull the white little stubs on the top of the drive in words. i have fixed Manny like this ;)

I know that if you have the Wii on stanby for too long it will overheat the sytem regardless if its on or not and cause the wii to malfunction down the road.

Not all of them but some will. Its best not to have it on standby.

I got one for free when my Wii did that...and my friends clicked really loud for the first 5 minutes, then the clicking stopped, and then just yesterday, it wont read any disks, it says "error" but the PS3 and the 360 are worse at it. I like Nintendo the best. But I hate Sony.
