This game was revolutionary. The music created an eerie tense atmosphere. When you shot soldiers or threw grenades, everything/everyone reacted accordingly. Each gun did exactly what it was supposed to. So yea, you couldn't choose between a million weapons, kill tons of soldiers, you had to simply survive with less bullets and each enemy was strategically placed. No Call of Duty game or any other WW2 shooter will ever come close to this and MOH Underground. I don't care how many copies COD sells

Nope. This is only on the Playstation. The PC has Allied Assault (with the expansions Breakthrough and Spearhead), as well as Pacific Assault and Airborne.

The good old days of video games when less equaled more. The atmosphere of this game is so incredible I remember it to this day. I wish today's game developers learned from this game and stopped making these chaotic and mindless FSP shooters that require you to shoot at million different things a second with hundred million bullets flying over your head. I can't enjoy any of that shit and much prefer the elegance and simplicity of the original Medal of Honor.

You can get capture cards at most places that sell computers. You don't have to have in on the TV. But I have the A/V cables split between my TV and capture card so games are easier to play on a bigger screen.

@Sssmurkie I am sorry to say it but any next-gen Call of Duty or any other war game can't compare to this. This game has far better sound, atmosphere, and immersive type of gameplay than any of the newer stuff. In this game you were single-handedly fighting, not part of a dumb team you have to direct. I don't mean to come on strong, but Games like this are simply examples that better graphics and cutscenes DO NOT MAKE BETTER GAMES. I had a PS2 and I got tired of ps2 and went back to ps1 games.

@raw8383 Thanks, also, at the time, this was basically the only war game, now Call of Duty has new game/expansion pack seemingly every 6 months to year on like 3 or 4 systems, PS3, xbox 360, PC, PSP, or other handhelds. Back then, if you didn't have a ps1, you basically were shut out of any MOH or war game. The only alternative at the time was maybe Dreamcast/N64 which didn't have any of the same games ps1 had! Games now are being pumped out nonstop and endless sequels with nothing improved!!

@SAFORecruitment01: Actually, MOH, especially the early installments, did rise and above beyond the COD. Unless I'm mistaken, you must be one of the 11 people who did not. Anyways, many of the original creators of the MOH series went on to create COD, so there's more than just the period setting and play mechacnics.

Looking back, it's interesting to see how in spite of all the miscalculations in geometry, and the lack of texture filtering, the disc space available on the PSX went a long way in making games feel more intense than on the N64, with voice acting, crisp sound effects and large textures.
