I think Ancient Athens was a very unique thing to occure within society at that time but I wish sometimes that Democracy had survived in a more pure form.

When I was in my early teens I liked Athens more than Sparta, yet as I learned more about Sparta I saw how it differed and was better than Athens, yet I admire both city-states.
