Funny this game won't work on my Windows 7 64 bit with an ATI Radeon HD 4270. Do you suggest anything if it doesn't work? I have Q3 Arena from Steam.

@lin545 You can play Q3 Live.(which, er... _IS_ Quake 3) free, online, in a browser. It doesn't get much more free and cross platform than that. And for the record, Q3 would give any game out today a run for it's money purely on streamlined, skill-based, turbo-paced, well balanced game play.

By "run for it's money" I actually meant "beat into a bloody pulp". You don't fuck with Quake 3 or it just gives you a stern look and unbuckles it's belt. It's the Daddy.

@rabidsi Q3Live is piece of sh!t compared to OpenArena or original Q3. It is polluted with cheaters, server castrated, ad-ridden, ignorant support, useless awards etc.

Quake3 was masterpiece by itself, maybe Q3:TA was good addition, but then, it died.

Q3Live is just money project. I don't know what has it lost here... Btw, it is crossplatform, due to Carmack giving the source and people around the globe porting it.

But games I mentioned own everyone in this post.

@1Gigas1 Nay, I dont suck. I ain´t "pro" either. Its just I have very good feeling when someone cheats, I have pretty long experience on spotting and reporting cheaters from Urt based on their behaviour. Of course I watch demo before accusing, not cheating till proven otherwise. Regards

Is that High Quality Quake 3? Because it didn't come with the high resolution textures. It only came with shader fixes, sound changes and better weapon appearances.

Hm...It appears to be the same textures as the original to me. I'm sorry, but, if this addon was at least 75% different from the original Quake III, I would probably download it. But, it appears to be only 30%
