@drewdaman13 I own a 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis made by Ford. I bought it 3 years ago and no problems at all. 138,000 miles and the trans is still going strong pulling 24 inch rims! BUT, like they say, nothing man made will last long!
@MrGetmoney84 the trunk had plenty of space for what we needed. while the trans barely lasted 150,000 miles (not bad at all), the engine was pushing just over 200,000 miles when I sold the car. Don't understand why you are laughing, it was a good car for us.
@5c0H Do you mean the kick panels? The ones in our car are custom made. There is a company called Q forms that makes kicks for a variety of different kinds of vehicles. They might have something tthat will work for you. Most good stereo shops will have the experience needed to build custom kicks if that is the route you are looking for.
@drewdaman13 In 24 years of driving the only other car that has done me better is the Honda Civic I am driving now. So I would consider my Intrepid a piece of shit.
@caraudiofreq Really not trying to offend you, but in my experience, Dodge as a company puts out shitty products. As does Ford, but that's another story. You did great work on the audio, just not the best choice of car.

@NatrupFilms48 You're right. they ar 6x9's. I didn't have any in mine. the whole deck was cut out to allow all of the bass an easy way into the cabin. I haven't owned a car with rear speakers in a long time.
@XBLdarkKILLR yeah. by molding the kit to the trim ring, it brings the radio out almost two inches. I really liked how the piece turned out. it got more than a few looks when we were competing.
@electroconcepts THANKS! i am actually starting some planning for my wife's car. she has a 1993 Nissan Maxima. we are planning something little but appealing. she may even get into the SQ lanes with it (fingers crosssed!)
@DUBDUECE05 The "Massive" letters are a windshield sticker from Massive Audio. I simply applied it to the plexi mirror above the sub subs (that is actually a motorized amprack that was never finished). The massive logo on the floor was hand-drawn, then traced onto the plexiglass' brown paper wrapper. I then hazed it with light grey and silver paint to get a close match to the "Massive" letters. The floor is also a door that opens to get access to the spare.
@DUBDUECE05 The panels were all cut as close as possible. i used body filler to fill any gaps on these panels. It takes a lot of time, but its worth every minute. We lost our house thanks largely to Hurrican Ike. I had to sell the car, along with a few other cars.
@DUBDUECE05 The final install (one seen here) was done by me. My son started helping with it when we ripped out the trunk. he put together his first box, but then discovered girls and that was ALL over!
@caraudiofreq no its not the fact of it doesnt fit my taste its just i dont like dodges but this dodge is one you probably are lucky to have since its before 1998 before the age where the cars where not total junk most 2000 and up intrepids are total shit
Damn sterio worth 3x more than car

@caraudiofreq yeah i bet it looks good. also under the hood im assuming thats another alternator youve got running just the audio. what size is that?
XBLdarkKILLR 1 year ago
@XBLdarkKILLR yeah, to get MAX points we added a second, complete charging system just for the audio. it was a 125 amp GM alternator.
