  • R8 totally

  • This guy obviously hasn't seen the new Audi R8

  • Audi is for sure more technologically advanced (ahahah SARCASM), in fact the only competition where they do something is the 24 hours of LeMans where they have to challenge against big brand that had made the history of the races like Chrysler.(still sarcasm).when it's time to challenge in a kickass competition like formula one where the tops are facing there is just one brand Ferrari's that is always there, then there are some secondary brand like Mercedes used to spy Ferrari's technology

  • Practicality People!!! The Audi wins this comparo hands down.

  • scuderia can't go over speed bums and and potholes anywhere near as well as the r8

  • great Audi, I love it! I have mine with full mods, see my videos (must watch):

    /watch?v=xh5dzOp5tbE

    /watch?v=UfBW6jNfgrU

    /watch?v=cgtT_S2sgNQ

    /watch?v=8VPDitcLqA8

    enjoy and do not LOL

  • Not at all even a good comparison! I mean the r8 is 180,00 and the 430 290,00 so really they should be comparing the r8 and the granturismo I think. Their equal in price, weight, quality, driveablity, and n

    Horsepower.

  • italian heart :D:D IDIOT

  • @H4RDSTYL34L1V3 The engine is Lamborghini v10 with the FSI injection. Lets say that the injection is German. The engine is still Lamborghini made and designed in Sant'Agata Bologna. And lets say also that is an amazing one.

  • @alessandroferrari87 - actually no... the 5.0 V10 was a Lambo design... the 5.2 was an Audi design that Lambo also adopted... and if i'm not mistaken Lambo engines are made at the Audi factory in Hungary. Also - if you check the roster... a lot of the Lambo employees since Audi took them over have been German.

  • @Amidat Which Audi adopted it before the r8? Ehm..no one. And then i hope you know the difference between the process of engineering design and large scale production. The design of engine has been done in Bologna, with the collaboration of the Audi engineers for the fsi injection that just brought modification on the V10 that has already been through different generations. The V10 Lamborghini is an engine of several generations that is evolving model by model. It's not Audi.

  • @alessandroferrari87 - Sorry to tell you but you are incorrect. the 5.0 liter was designed by Lambo (with Audi input). The 5.2 V10 was based on the 4.2 V8 Audi design and was done by Audi - (with Lambo input). Those are the facts. The 5.0 and 5.2 are completely different designs. That's the reality. I'm sure if you search deep enough you can find it.

  • stupid ass narrator, the lambo has an AUDI engine, audi made the engine for the lambo, but than decided to put it in the R8, so the lambo has german blood running through its veins.

the ferrari is nice, but overall the audi is a more practical car

  • Since when did the fucking yanks know anything about doing a proper car test? Why is the Fezza a scuderia and not a standard one? The Audi is a standard v10. Its not a stripped out ABT version so why the bias to the italian car.

    Fkn jerks.

And pricewise its a no brainer. AUDI RULES!!

  • Why do these assholes have their lights on during the day?

  • ferrari sucks r8 rocks

  • I'll take the Ferrari anyday.. you only live ones.

  • if it's waz given 2 me 4 free, iwould take the ferrari...but if i have 2 spent money....audi ALL DAY!!

  • Comparing apples to oranges.

  • R8 kicks ass! Ferarri just had a recall, you'll never get that with a German car

  • what bullshit review.... what a waste of fuel...

  • it is to obvious that "car and driver" is a big fan of Ferrari, and the fact that they put together Maseratti and Lamborghini is outrageous. Lambo is on the same level as Ferrari especially in our days. The LP550-2 beat's the 458 italia, etc.

And i don't know, if from 100 people, would choose 20 the Ferrari F430 Scuderia over the Audi R8 5.2 V10, am i wrong ?

And think of the price 170.000 $ (R8) compared to 293.000 $ (F430)= 123.000 $ with this diference i can tune the R8 to kill the Scuderia

  • You can't compare a ferrari or a lamborgini to a shit audi.Germans will never make a supercar half as good as an italian supercar. The rear side of audi is a copy of lamborghini'srear side.I agree that a more comfortable and 'every day car' but overall ferrari is and will always the best.I would prefer a lamborgini gallardo which offers many comforts in the interior and is much better that the audi on the road

  • A more luxurious R8 for almost half the price of Scuderia, no brainer

  • And for the price of one Scuderia you car get two R8 V10s

  • y would anyone pay that much more for a car that has almost identical performance to car thats over $100,000 less?

  • R8 wins, screw this guy!

  • tough choice..

  • ...so the r8 loses to a car that is well over twice its price?? Isn't the idea to test comprable cars?? The only similarity is that they are both supercars and the 0-60 time! They have different engines, different gearboxes, different drive setups

  • The Italian supercar will always be the benchmark.

  • audi F E R R A R I

  • il take both :D

  • none of that man. R8 all the way

  • the audi interios have much more quality. ferrari has a fantastic shape and a great engine, stop. two great different cars.

  • Audi Audi Audi !!!!!!

  • get someone more enthusiastic to narrate this comparison

  • As others have said, this is an absolutely stupid comparison. An "every day" super car vs. a "stripped down" pure race car? And they're not even closely priced to boot!

  • $160,000 to $290,000. You can drive the Audi anywhere and feel comfortable be in a refined piece of machinery. If the Ferrari, being an awesome car as it is, is all carbon fiber and trimmed raw of all creature comforts, then how are both cars 0-60 identical? Interesting.

  • how has ferrari won every comparison, its definately not the fastest car around a track. Example, the GTR is faster than all but one ferrari around the nurburgring,Enzo. The Lexus LFA is faster than the Enzo at the nurburgring too

  • Just because the lap time is better that doesn't mean either are better cars. And to be fair, the Enzo is seven years old and the GTR came out last year and the LFA isn't out yet.

  • @buttnut1080 actually track times are the only way to determine how balanced a car is because horsepower and stats dont accurately portray greatness in a car. I.e the bugatti veyron has massive amounts of horsepower but not that well balanced because it is not very quick on a track

  • They are a big deal that's true.

  • The R8 is by far the superior road car. This guy ignored that fact and also ignored the huge price difference. For a normal driver, the R8's everday usefulness, gorgeous interior (and exterior) and fantastic handling ability gives it the edge.

  • None of you R8 fans get it. A supercar is no meant to be driven everyday. They are suppossed to be able to perform on the road but mostly on the track. If you wanted a nice interior and good driving quality there are countless GT cars that will suit but if you wanted a true supercar, the 430 Scuderia is the perfect choice. I'm not saying the R8 is a bad car, its a great car but its not as much of (let alone more of) a supercar than the Ferrari just because of comfort and a flashy interior.

  • @buttnut1080 you still forget that the R8 was as fast as the Scuderia, had a great interior and usability, and still cost half the price of the Scuderia!! wat's the point of taking out the interior and make the car more expensive? it makes no sence at all..

  • The R8 may be as fast but in the twisty stuff, the Ferrari is miles ahead. You can't compete with something as raw as the Scuderia. And by the way, the R8 does not cost half as much as the Scuderia. The Scuderia is more track and driver focused. The point is, you can't compare everyday usability to driver focused performance. The R8 is comparable to cars like the SLS AMG, SL 65 AMG, even the California

  • Why "Italian Heart"?^^ You know that Lamborghini is a part of the Audi GmbH? xD If Lamborghini would not be a part of Audi, may it would not exist now.

  • @Spiiidfr3aK By now Lamborghini sucks a lot.

  • @drebinable That's your opinion

  • Why is it titled "Audi Vs Italy?" Shouldn't that be "Germany Vs Italy?" Besides the fact that BOTH get to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds AND the Audi is more comfortable, makes it the winner. Anyone I've known who's owned a Ferrari, has mentioned their lack of confidence in terms of reliability in Ferraris -- any of them. The closest, comfortable Ferrari would be the 575 Marinello.

  • You obviously cannot appreciate a supercar much like the other R8 fans. A supercar is not meant to be a GT car with a nice interior; that's why there's a difference between the two. Just because the R8 has a flashy interior and rides well on the road doesn't make it a better supercar. If you wanted those qualities there are countless choices that would fulfill. And Ferrari's may not be that reliable but people don't drive them that often so it doesn't really make a difference.

  • @buttnut1080 - what you say is only marginally true about supercars and comfort. It seems that Ferrari doesn't even believe that anymore. The California and the 612 Scag (successor to the 456GT) were made to be comfortable. Even with the F430 - they wouldn't have had to make this "hardcore" Scuderia version.

  • Thats true and false. They build cars for different reasons; some of their cars like the 456, 612, and california are not meant to be supercars but rather everyday GT cars. Just wait to see what's coming out Maranello's doors over the next 5 years. Not only will there be high performance versions of the California and 458 Italia but they are replacing the 612, 599, and Enzo. By then we'll really get a feel for what they're trying to do

  • @buttnut1080 - you are right they do build them for different reasons but I am sure if you ask Ferrari they consider ALL of their vehicles supercars. Also - you are only proving the point of what some are saying on here. They tested an R8 with all the bells and whistles against the stripped down, pure performance version of the F430. Persons are saying it would be more journalistic honest if they tested the R8 against the "stock" F430....that's the part you are not getting.

  • I haven't seen anyone who said the R8 should go against the F430. All I've seen were people that think the R8 is a better supercar than the 430 Scuderia; maybe you're the one that doesn't understand.

  • @buttnut1080 - go back and read the comments. Everyone was saying it doesn't make sense to compare the R8 to a dedicated track car like the Scuderia. Logically that means test it against the "normal" version of the F430.

  • Go back and read the comments. There are several people saying the R8 is the better car. That's why I started commenting in the first place.

  • The 430 has a wicked exhaust tone! Kick ass car. and I'd take a Gallardo SuperLeggera over a R8 any day.

  • audi r8 is a beautiful lookin car

  • mercatorish - I slightly disagree with that.... It was Lambo's corporate culture that had the company on life support. Audi only gave them freedom after they met certain criteria. Automobile Magazine did a story on the Lambo factory a couple of years ago and the Lambo manager taked about it.

  • Yes, basically that's what I ment. It's pretty much the same with Audi and VW. Of course Audi took benefit of VW and still does (especially when it comes to large scale purchasing / crude materials etc.). But finally it's Audi's responsibility to create a successful business. The same support and , as you mentioned, freedom was given to Lambo, and they made it. Skoda and SEAT use much more VW components than Audi does, but Skoda is doing much better than SEAT...no coincident.

  • how he said scuderia at 1:58...fail

  • Comment removed

  • I want to see a R8 5.2 vs LP560 comparo

  • wow what a shit review

  • Italian cars are the most beautiful, and everyone knows

  • Why dont you test the R8 V10 against another car with similar price ?? This is not fair.

  • wow the ferrarri wins did he mention that there not remotely the same costs? lets tests say the mercedes McLaren SLR against a bugatti veyron thats 3x its price ... is this ment to be a serious review anyone?

  • Sadly, now I can say that the Ferrari 458 is better than the R8 v10 NOT THE Scud430. But still this video is shit, and it's irrelevant as all people pointed since both are different types of cars. Let me strip down the Audi then let's see who wins this.

I lost my trust on Car&Driver, I better stick to Top Gear or R&T Mag.

  • ehhhhhh 525 hp idiot

  • compare the scuderia to the lp560

  • the r8 is a toy for the ferrari scuderia 510hp vs420hp pahhahahahahah the r8 is not bad but the scuderia is a KILLER

  • The Audi is the better car

  • this guy does a shit review the scud is soo much more worst to drive. your not at all a part of the car in the R8? well at least it has a manual and the quatro can lose traction if you turn the TC off this guys an idiot the scud is a great car but its not usable every day with as much ease and try and parrallel park that 430 oh wait flappy paddels thats annoying :)

  • the r8 loses the comparo for stupid reasons mentioned in this vid the guy in the vid says

refinement keeps the driver from driveing experience

my response is come on the r8 is built to be an evry day supercar that doess evrything well thats suposed to be comfortable and easy with the quattro awd systm the r8 is not as track devoted as the scuderia and thats why i say this comparo is stupid cause the r8 is a comfortable more useable super car the scuderia is suposed to be a pure track car

  • towelman20 - yeah these magazines do have these apples vs. orange comparisons every now and then. My question is though - will Audi make a "stripped down" version of the R8 for hardcore people? The chassis - suspension - engine are great so they should do. Audi Sport has already done a race competitive version - so I don't see why not a street legal one.

  • yeah good point you got their but vw own lambo and audi and i dont think vw would want an r8 thts quicker thn an lp560 plus their more likly to make a track day lp560 then they are to make a track day r8.

  • towelman20 - actually VW owns Audi but Audi owns Lambo. There is a RWD version of the lp560 that cut over 200lbs. of the Lambo. I'm not sure if they removed all the features though.

  • @Towelman20 I do agree with you. The R8 also performs in an economic way, I can drive it in the city or have a relaxing travel with it. Jeremy from Top Gear felt in love for the R8, it is the roomiest super sports car in its category, the level of finishing is higher than the Mercedes-Benz top super cars, the Quattro system impedes that most the fresh drivers of super cars may be involved in accidents. The Ferrari may look a bit rotter than the R8 because of its rear, but the R8 costs 50% less!

  • You're so wrong. The whole point of a supercar is not to be able to drive it everyday or be comfortable, its supposed to give the driver a rush; its all about driver involvement. Yeah, the R8 is good on the road but so are a lot of cars. If you wanted a comfortable everyday car than an aston martin DB9 or a mercedes SL63 or this R8 would be ideal but if you wanted a true supercar, the 430 scuderia is the perfect choice. they're called "super"cars for a reason.

  • Audi? What's that? It is a car? Ah yeah, Audi 80 GL, 2 liter engine 90 HP..... For papy

  • AUDI's are the best cars ever!!

Best Quattro tracking system ever made. Look at rally, AUDI QUATTRO SPORT S1.

This car is BANNED from rally world tour, because of the suppremacy of his 4 wheel traction system. Now AUDI is trying to build a super car, and I think they did an AMAZING JOB!!

    AUDI R8 WINS =o)

  • I agree, Audi racing heritage is very impressive you can kinda compare it to Ferrari's own. From its Auto-Union victories to Rallies, and now La-Mans. It's very impressive. The only downside is Audi making the R8 too heavy so it won't compete with the LP560.

  • well the r8 isnt tht heavy and wth the best awd systm you can get and all these driver aids makeing the car easy to push to the limits on a track and you really complain about the wieght holding it back i mean the r8 is faster thn i would expect it to be and i dont think audi purposley made the r8 heavier thn the lp560 plus put it this way the r8 is like a lower end model ender the name of a different brand.

  • R8 :)

  • The audi won at everything. Get off ferraris nuts. I see this everywhere. Ferrari won't build a better car without competiton but if you sugar coat tests like this... This review is defunct and lame

  • I agree a sports car should be like the ferrari

  • I don't get the comparison. They even said the Scuderia is a "stripped down" version of the 430. So you're taking basically a true race car against something that has more fit & finish & more for what could be an everyday driver in the R8

  • exactly mate, thank you thats what i thought

  • audi is the new lambo

  • lol audi vs itialy. audi vs ferrari or

     italy vs germany

  • I'll take an R8 anyday

  • and everyday

  • Sorry, but I'm going to take the R8 V10 on this one. Not only is it 100k cheaper, but its also more comfortable and performs similarly to the 430. I honestly couldn't care less if I don't get as much feel around a track. The simple fact is that you can't go wrong with either car, and for that, I'll save my pennies.

    I'll take an R8 V10 please.

  • yeah its true and also has a better interior and audio system

ill go for the audi to

  • audi should make a v12 r8. that would be beast

  • @MeAndMyM14 there is a v12 tdiaudi r8 idot

  • eh no th v12 r8 is just a concept car.

  • I do liove the Ferrari, but the interior shows the weight loss (it's not a pretty sight, not ugly) but I couldn't live with it. I'd by the Audi, as civilized, and make things easy, It was the first supercar I have ever seen (saw it on Top Gear), and I fell in love. If you disagree, and want the Ferrari that is fine. But the R8 has my heart.

  • you don't tell people after reviewing the first car that it got second place in a two place contest. you're not giving people a reason to watch the rest of the movie. not to mention the inherent bias your publication exhibits when you tell people that issue after issue ferrari is your favorite care. at least you had the decency to admit towards the end of the video clip that your review is subjective. but, that also serves to discredit your opinion.

  • I don't know how it serves to discredit an opinion, which, by definition, is something subjective. This video doesn't suggest it is objective, and if you have read Car and Driver before you know they have certain unflappable preferences...cough cough ...BMW 3-Series...cough. I'd have the Audi though.

  • italian cars will never have quality like german cars. AUDI ALL THE WAY!

  • macedionan shut up! ferrari is the history

  • C & D should know better than come up with this strange comparison: a bare bones pure track car vs an all round supercar, and after 300 miles of testing the track car wins ha ha. I'd like them to tell us how many Tylenols they needed for their rears after 100 miles in the Ferrari. Its 20 hp down on the Audi double the price has no creature comforts, 600lbs lighter and the Audi matches it to 60 and top speed? I'm a huge Ferrari fan, but the Audi wins by a mile. Next time make it a regular F430

  • I do agree with you harold1oe, they can't rate down a car with both comfort and performance in favor of one stripped down because its manufacturers could not meet their performance expectations otherwise. Ferrari makes good cars alright but every one knows that comfort and performance beats the hell outta plain performance the same way a sandwich taste better than dry bread.

  • they should make nicer interior in ferrari's :( and lower the price lol :)

  • Audi: Luxury + Comfort + Sport

    Ferrari: Sport Only

I will take R8 V10 anyday over Ferrari.

Ferrari's interior looked very cheap when compared to Audi's and Audi is a hell lot cheaper.

  • i would think the regular 430 have been a better comparison, not the track version.

  • i have the audi r8 but my is v8 its a very good car

  • u sure do stupid bitch y the fuck u gotta lie ashole?

  • stripped down..no bells no whistles...or a commuter friendly rocket ship...HMMMM i say F*** the over priced prancin pony and save ourself over $100K

  • WOW the ferrari is double the price and none of the features. Good comparo

  • @vipeme1 not to mention the cost of ownership of a ferrari...the sticker price is just the beginning...

  • AUDI FTW. i've nothing again the prancing horse but i'd rather take the v10 over a v8 any day of the goddamn week

  • Unlike the Ferrari, the audi R8 is designed to be comfortable as well. Then you look at the price. Audi won by a landslide.

  • The Audi engine is not a Lambo engine. The very first Gallardo got a derived Audi engine (4.2 V8 - 5.0 V10). The direct injection comes from Audi (LP 560-4). Lambo was just the first company within the Audi Group that was allowed to implement the V10. It's the same with the aluminium body (ASF) or the 4 wheel drive....Audi know how! Of course Lambo got some excellent engineers. But it's not a coincident that Lambo is an economically healthy brand ever since Audi bought it some years ago.

  • mercatorish - yeah people forget that it was Audi that saved Lambo from dying. Even the manufacturing of the cars itself was directed by Audi. That's why Lambos are much more reliable than they used to be. The aluminum body of the Gallardo is even shipped from Germany to Italy.

  • Yeah, the body is made in Neckarsulm, Baden Württemberg,Germany. It's Audi's "aluminium headquarter". Audi also learned from Lambo, but the major aspect is, that Audi does not treat Lambo like a little kid and respects Lambo's corporate culture. That's the bottom line when it comes to mergers or takeovers. Nice coincident - just today I drove an Audi R8 V10 the very first time. Big big fun on the Autobahn!

  • i heard lambo is going to make a track day lp560 its called the lp570 superleggera.

  • Also, every R8 is precisely built with a laser to check the parts and how it is put together. It's the best car ever built, that and the Porsche Carrera GT!

  • the audi is the best also cheaper

  • "AUDI VS ITALY" What the hell? :S

  • Audi.....

  • Could yo fit a pair of skis behind the seats in an R8? Can you?

Great cars and thanks for posting.

  • So, Ferrari stripped down the regular f430 to save 600 pound over the R8 V10? i would rather buy the 160 thousand dollar R8 V10 for half the price. It's cheaper, more luxurious and a lot more practical. They should have used the R8 V10 vs the Ferrari F430 or the R8 GT3 with the 430 Scuderia. and in this video the r8 and 430, both pulls in the same 0-60 mark and the same top speed of 196 MPH. So, what are the benefits of the nearly 300 thousand dollar Ferrari besides the "Supercar experience"?

  • Comment removed

  • agreed with all - they should NOT have used the stripped down version of the Ferrari... unless they also factored in the comfort and everyday useability advantage that the R8 has.

  • audi won!!!

  • audiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii R8 v10 period

  • Wow they're stupid. They make the R8 sound like a TT when they talk about how it handles. So stupid to compare these two. Either make it an R8 GT3 or a normal Ferrari F430, than it would be interesting.

  • senseless comparison IMO

  • My favorite C&D reveiw so far. I for one would choose the R8. as it is like 100,000 dollars less. More rear wheel power, wicked rear tires, beautiful rear end. And a V10 made by Lambo just like Lambo designed the V10 Venom engine for the Viper.

  • Bad comparison video. At least compare the Audi to a normal F430. Bias ftl.

  • so so true. Ferrari has only a comparison once. For some reason C&D is being brown nosing bastards.

  • i agree completely.......

  • They should have gotten their hands on the R8 GT3 for this comparison. Its rear wheel drive and stripped down just like the scuderia.

  • cant wait to see someone turbo the r8 like the gallardo :)

  • Audi gripers, both these cars are incredible, equal in many respects. They are diffent is certain ways, they appeal to different buyers. The are lightly comparing these cars on a simple basis, not implying that you should only ever get the Ferrari.

  • this vid is bunk =-P i mean CD is just biased toward Ferraris. Did they even have a valid excuse for audi getting 2nd? lame

  • really? so it's so hard to believe that ferraris are good, then?

  • It should have been R8 V-10 vs. the regular F430 not the scuderia which is about the price of the R8 V-10 and V-8 combined. So you can have a Scuderia or two R8s. Which would you have?

  • i want them both,im gonna go and rob a bank now

  • "May lack some of the Audi's interior features"? How about any of the Audi's features besides a tach and speedo. Nice materials but the layout is a joke. The 458 will be on the same level as the competition though, inside and out.

  • I'd take the Audi with same performance HP wise. Audi has always been known to be a little fat (weight) but then you're getting basically an S8 (bang & olufson included) interior in a sports car. Where as in the Scuderia you're getting a Kart interior.

  • yeh but if you buy a car like that you don't buy it because you want it to be comfortable and civilised, u buy it becaus you want it to be a thrill. so ferrari wins it for me, but the audi is still a brilliant car though! i do think its great how they manage to make it so managable.

  • Wha-? So, what Car & Driver is saying is if I ripped the speakers, carpet, and other stuff out of the Audi, it'd be worth twice as much?? I think I just came up with a good business plan. Buy $145K sports cars, tub them out, and sell them for $290K. You heard it here first- I'm on my way to the bank for a loan to get started. Thanks, Car & Driver for being so in touch!

  • Their both hot xD

  • why not use the dsg with launch control?

  • a friend just traded his 430 in for a V10 Audi... half the price and affordable (relative) maintenance... I'd love to have the Audi in my garage....

  • OH man! An 8K rpm launch with 4wd, that must have felt like a rocket taking off

  • The r8 v8 should be up against the normal f430. That v10 r8 should be compared to the 599 in my opinion. The Scuderia can really only be compared to cars like the Gallardo lp550, maybe the Porsche gt2.Its deceptive being at the bottom of the Ferrari range but look at the specs esp the price and its going head to head with cars further up the scale. How about the Viper acr even. VW have lambo to challenge Fiat which have Ferrari, Audi should be vs Maserati maybe?

  • Audi R8 V10 looks like exotic car from future ...amazing!

  • gtr is the best.

    there is no match

    £55000

    0-60 3.2 secs.

japanese so ur never guna breakdown ru

  • never break down? better ask all the angry GTR owners who had to fork over 12k for a new tranny.

  • So the Audi is _too_ good?

  • awesme cars

  • A regular 430 with leather interior would be a better comparison but still.

The Audi does 0 - 60 in 3.5 seconds with manual !!!!! Imagine it with DSG S-tronic. And Audi only claims 3.9, how conservative!

  • that ferrari sounds great!

  • both Cars are great !! amazing sound too ! btw why C&D do not travel to Japan and compared the over priced 430 Scuderia with the GTR Spec V hehe

  • which is also overpriced

  • This comparison makes no sense at all. The Scuderia is a single minded, focused track car, with the Audi being an everyday Supercar. Oh.. the Ferrari was almost twice as expensive!

You should have at least gotten the standard F430, but it seems you wanted to keep your Ferrari dominance over all car and driver comparison tests perhaps? How much does Ferrari pay you guys??

  • When I compared the "price as tested" numbers I just started laughing. Audi scored huge for being 1/2 the price!

  • This isn't a fare comparison the R8 5.2 V10 isn't a stripped out version. it's the standard car and is not suppose to be a race/track car as the scuderia.

the price tag of the scuderia is insane almost 300k, 130k more then the R8.

The original Ferrari 430 would have been a better comparison both in price and performance.

  • Good god I want a Scuderia! It still would be a tough choice between it and the new GT3RS. But I figure if anyone can afford either, they can afford both.

  • Rich boy showoff car vs. Track day toy..... Why car and driver why....

  • Audi vs. Italy?

  • Let me see, both cars look better than it have more power higher top speeds and hit 60 in 3.5 sec GTR can't do that very well. And one thing to note, the Ferrari Scuderia does 0-60 in 3.1 sec not 3.5. This video is wrong. GTR 0-60 is 3.7-4.1

  • GTR 1-60 is 3.3 do ur homework before posting plz. and the GTR costs 50% cheaper than the R8 and barely 1/4 the cost of the gay ferrari...id take the gtr any day.

  • don't ever call a ferrari gay!!!!!!!your a bitch for sayin that.the ferrari is faster, looks better, sounds better, the bottom line its a FERRARI not a nissan

  • yes nissan are ultra cheap car and all japesnese too.

  • Good call. Yeah that's an AUDI V10 lambo never built a V10.
