Man I've been looking for this song for the longest. I couldn't find it b/c I thought the singer was saying "letting nobody down" not "lay your body down". It's funny b/c everytime I heard this song on the radio I would think to myself that it reminded me of the killer!!! hahaha go figure huh?

Your lyrics aren't correct. "His firey arrows drew their bea in vain" doesn't make sense. Firey is spelled fiery and "bea" - you tell me what that's supposed to be. I found "bead" in other transcriptions, but that makes as much sense as "bea". I think it should be "bow", that's the best I could come up with. Opinions?

@Morlyn2 I'm not sure what it is either, those lyrics i copied and pasted it form somewhere else and i thought it sounded wrong too LOL I found a website and it said that to "draw a Bead" means to take aim. I will definitely correct that ^_^

This afternoon I was driving in my car and heard this song for the second time.

I really thought that it was song by A-Ha but than the DJ said that it is performed by The killers. I'm a little older and that might be the reason I never heard of the band, but this beautiful song is really great and I do love it.
