  • Nowadays they crash in to each other on the track

  • Hahahaha. AH man drivers need to start doing this stuff again. If it becomes commonplace they wont bother with the fines.

  • @rodhavji I know what you mean, I miss it, too.

Nowadays, drivers will get a frikking fine for doing such a thing. Which I find RIDICULOUS, of course.

  • That's 1999 !! NOT 1998 !

  • thats 1999 !! Not 1998 !!

  • I miss this era. Drivers were more human.

  • I.Juice War (1998) (Hakkinen-Irvine) Winner:Hakkinen (because Irvine ran away)

  • really awesome i love Eddie Irvine xD

  • I was watching a bit of the 1998 Monaco GP a few days ago. After Häkkinen won, he started doing burnouts and stopping in front of the grandstands waving to the crowd. I wonder what the penalty for that would be today...

  • @Ferrariman601 yes he would get dangerous driving penalties and then be fined for wasteful use of the tyres and fuel. fucking stupid :(

  • @FUCK202 Absolutely. I was actually surprised that Kimi wasn't penalized after doing that burnout when he won at Spa in 2007.

Drivers should be allowed to celebrate provided they do it safely of course.

  • god almightly what was that thing at the very end! looked like some sort of grotesque clone of michael schumacher that had gone wrong.....oh my mistake it was ralf

  • And why on earth people always remember classic battles just between Mika and Michael?

  • michael innocent

  • Irvine and Häkkinen under investigation for causing a Waterfight!

  • ERVINE under investigation

  • haha!! atmosphere in F1 was great in these years....

  • No, I won´t do that, don´t worry

... But he will do xD

  • These were the days of REAL Formula 1 :)

  • Now its just Mark Webber slamming his cup of water down angrily.

  • kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk Irvine ilarius!

  • lol MS sees it coming at the beginning

  • Comment removed

  • formula 1 really needs moments like that

  • @evgeniwrc It's too serious now.

  • i can't stop watching this tho, simply funny~~~

  • Love the fact that Mika says "sorry" as he leaves the interview to go and get Eddie back :D

  • HAHAHA Eddie giggles like a little girl when Mika runs after him :D

  • Michael might say he has nothing to do with it but he actually lean back so Eddie can take his shot...

  • Those were the days :D

  • are you sure its the canadian gp and what year is it. its so funny

  • @1fatdan It says "Air Canada Grand Prix" on the front of the desk, lol.

  • @dobyblue looked it up and its the qualifying press conference 1999

  • @1fatdan Yep, Canadian GP, I remember it well as it was my buddy's first trip to Montreal for the race. Just got my tickets for next year's race, will be my 10th. The entire week-end is considered the "Grand Prix", not just the race.

Another DNF for Jacques this year.

  • @dobyblue your lucky i live in england and cant get to see the canadian gp even though its my favourite. but at least i get to see the british gp

  • this is how f1 should be fun

  • michael thinks to himself, *ah yes, team orders!*

  • I love the smug grin on Michael's face.

  • Hakkinen è stato un grande!!

  • VOLVIO CON LA JARRA VACIA..

  • Eddie: *throws towel*

Mika: *fakes splash* Nah, I wouldn't do that to ya Eddie!

Michael: I want nothing to do with that!

    Eddie: *SPLASH!* I would! *runs*

    Best press conference ever!

  • where has the good old days gone :(

  • i bet Mika left her wife for Eddie.

  • @Molo19 lol

  • Wow, Mikka almost smiled!

  • 0:19

Was that Eddie squeaking like a little girl? XD

  • This video is hilarious! Poor Michael caught in the middle. He should have joined in. By the way, did Mika get a refill after that? lol

  • aahahhaha kalah budak kecik! =p

  • owh those good old days

    miss this

  • sometimes people forget how charismatic mika really was.

  • @martinvsyolat3ngo Mika Hakkinen was awesome

  • Classic!!!

  • Eddie was brave doing that, considering Mikka had the jug haha.

  • "no, i would not do that, eddie, dont worry":D

  • Who was the 3rd. Häkkinen Schuhmacher and?

  • eddy irvine is the third

  • It would happen; there just isn't a guy like Irvine around anymore.

  • exact, we miss drivers like Irvine or Alesi who were really joker

But, i'm not sure that Alonso, Kimi or Button would reply like Mika

    nice video :)

  • LOL returns with empty jug a few seconds later. :p

  • hahaha nice to see :-)

  • Lol, if they did this now, they'd probabaly get fined or banned, because the FIA don't have a concept of what fun is

  • 1999?

  • correct ;)

  • those were the real f1 times

  • the last hero of motosport

  • ...back in the days when Formula One drivers weren't afraid to have fun. These day's they are just boring, restrained and polictly correct. A corprate animal, a sponsors dream...but a fans worst nightmare!!!

  • I agree with you totally. But if we fans want this AND WE WANT!Why are all those sponsors and trademarks making them(drivers) behave like corporate animals.Drivers should just let themselves go and take a risk.

  • Yeah...they shouldn't be afraid to have fun, or express them selves. This vid is class!

  • Don´t you have your own opinion? that´s exactly what Eddie Irvine has said yesterday

  • Oh right so my comment which I posted one month ago is just me copying a quote by Eddie Irvine yesterday is it? I'm not sure if you have noticed this, but one month ago came before yesterday!

  • Wow, then i think you have influence over eddie irvine, he says the same as you, interesting... mm...

  • Ok then, I can tell you are being sarcastic. Look at my comment that you are complaining about again. Look next to my username above the comment on the right. It says (1 month ago). Thats when I posted the comment. So if Eddie Irvine said that onl yesterday, then how could I have copied his opinion. I'm guessing you didn't mean yesterday and meant a much longer time ago, but even so I didn't copy anybody's opinion.

  • I didn´t see the date, that´s why i said that. I should check the dates first xD. Now i correct: he has just say the same you said a month ago.

  • Ok then. Soz, jus thought I'd point it out because I had no idea what you were on about, Lol. But nah, thats always been my opinion from the day F1 drivers became boring corparate jackassesm! xD

  • i think mika was the only one of schumis rivals that I actually liked and respected. these days all you got is sissy lewis hamilton and co.

  • agree!!!

  • "Tästä mä saan kyllä kuulla tästä" Joo tosiaan se sai kuulla :D :D

  • good old times!! :D

  • Thats it...now u've to take a shower, eddie XDDD

  • miss these good times if any one trys to do that now i bet he will be DQ from the whole season

  • i miss these days of old banter and laughs in f1!

  • Thats funny as piss.

  • lol... that would exactly be what would happen .. very funny clip hehe

  • Let's see, if this happened today, Eddie and Mika would get 50,000 Euro fines for exceeding the juice throwing speed limit and Michael would lose 3 spots on the grid for the next race for blocking Eddie's line of sight to Mika's face.

  • that's really actually what would happen. haha

  • true im so pissed with all the penalties nowadays like last weekend at the nurburgring, to webber.. its just an incident, its racing, its bound to happen!

    but nooooooooooo

  • Ferrariman601:Yuo´re right!

And FIA would ponder about...like 4 months. And after that decision is.NOTHING REALLY HAPPENED.

F1 these days is a big joke.

  • Funny as comment

  • @Ferrariman601 : Fantastic comment :))

  • @Ferrariman601

don't forget, they are only allowed to refill their glasses every 4 races, so he'd also lose some spots on the grid, if he wanted to drink something during the next race then.

  • @KingsPowerSteel Haha, YES, how remiss of me to forget that! :P

  • @KingsPowerSteel True, but the amount of juice they're allowed to throw is restricted to 1,6 liters over 3 years. And, to maximize competition, there are only 4 juice-brands to choose from.

  • @Ferrariman601 "After the recent incidents with Hamilton the stewards were so appalled they decided to give Schumacher a 10 place grid penalty out of sheer force of habbit"

  • "That's it! Eddie, sorry!"

*comes back with an empty jug*

    Simply the best!

  • The Whole Drink In The Jar MIKA Was Holding Were Gone When Mika came back...

    I WONDER what happen...

    hahahax

  • i like how mika take the JUG with him lol!!

  • lol eddie, what a twat

  • Ffaccio fatica a trattenere le lacrime, guardando questo video, mi fa davvero venire una nostalgia incredibile, pensando a come si è ridotta la F1 in 8-9 anni. :'(

  • lol eddie giggles like a preteen girl after mika goes for him (homoerotic allusions not intended)

  • Eddie:2-Mika:1 :D

  • "Thank you gentlemen, the circus continues tomorrow!!!!"

  • The F1 circus altogether was much more enjoyable to watch back in those days. Myself being a Finn, so I especially enjoyed the late 90's and early 2000 when Hakkinen and Schumacher were really racing against each other.

  • So true.

  • @xphs yeah! those were the days. F! was great at that time

  • hahaha i love mikka hakkinen he is ledgendary :D !!! nothing like that ever happens these days :( where was this conferance, what track and what year??

  • che era bella questa formula 1....

    NOSTALGIA

  • He He He

    off course nothing happens

like that these days ! :(

  • The atmosphere was so relaxed back in the days compared to the present. Good times..

  • I played F1 97 earlier today, and after seeing this, it brings a tear to my eye that these guys aren't getting together now and racing for the fun of it!

  • Great video!

  • Thoose great days :)

  • they were joking werent they?

  • Mika was 2nd and irvine was 3rd, so Irvine was just teasing him ;)

  • Mikka was then and is a nice person, very intelligent too. There is a video of him been ask to drive at maranello and Mikka just laugh a'away!.Now that says a lot!.

  • prostě borci:D:D:D

  • 0:13

  • In F1 there is too much disagreements nowadays and drivers dont like each other that much. And too much playing games with the media. 10 years ago second and third, not just winner were able to be happy. I really miss Michael and Mika.

  • LMAO! Listen to eddie at 0:19

  • Mika got Eddie at the end of 0: 22.

  • "i would not do that eddy dont worry" hahahahahahahah

  • lol the circus continues tomorrow

  • Hahaha that was funny :D

  • actually, the drivers still do that, Alonso was throwing somethin at Kubica during one of the press conferences in Valencia, cant find it on youtube tho :<

  • fantastic!

  • hahhah..

  • the golden 90's. its all downhill now.

  • I argee the sports was so exciting.

  • Yeah. When drivers really were talented. imagine if Massa would throw juice on Hamilton these days. English media would demolish Massa.

  • lol

  • miss that...

  • All retired, very lightearted between them, wouldn't see that with Alonso would u?!

  • LOL!! I wish the drivers still did that!

  • lol, I miss such things...

  • Why's Eddie throwing things at Mika while he's conducting an interview in Finnish?

  • it's called having fun..

something that has been lost in this sport...

  • LOL!

  • bring back the craziness in F1!

  • seriously, now there uptight, bring back the fun

  • "Naah, i would not do that Eddie don't worry.." and 4 seconds later he did it rofl. "Thats It"

  • memories.... nowadays all the drivers take it all too seriously nd it gets all boring

    gr8 vid!

  • i love the way schumi just sits there not getting involved

  • I love that video!

  • go mika

  • guess the increased media presence and all the money being spent puts so much added pressure on the teams and drivers they have forgotten how to just relax

  • There was plenty of money and media back then also. It is because all the geeks who dont know how to have fun end up running the show

  • I like how when Mika returns the pitcher is empty

  • I don't know why drivers are so tense in interviews anymore. This would never happen now, and it is only around 7 years in the future!

  • Hakkinen for life he best ever

  • that was really funny...but today drivers more behave like buisness men at the wall street...bad because such scenes let drivers more look like "normal" people like we are...

  • i can't really imagine alonso, kimi and hamilton being comfortable enough with each other to do this...

  • lol the good frendship beetween those drivers

  • yeah, i remember these thing happening years ago... they laughed, they did things that aren't done nowadays.... WHY??

  • Häkkinen FTMFW!

  • it was so much better then...

the hostility there is now makes it look more like just a job..

  • Yeah, wish the "new" guys would have some fun, not just pissing others off

  • that wouldn't happen nowadays... great guys!

  • That was damn cool! :)

  • ahh...those were the days!

  • lähtee täyden kannun kanssa --> takas tyhjän kanssa xD

  • Tästä mä saan kuulla että missasin.. Ja sit Irvine heittää mehut xD Paras ku Schumi jää tonne yksi xD

  • f1 was way better then

  • Häkkinen was one of the funnier drivers in F1 during his career :)

  • Would we get this these days from Hamilton, Alonso and Raikonen? I don't think so. These three were the best of mates too.

  • Rofl, best part of that weekend

  • lol i cant get over the noise eddie makes at :20

  • Sounds like a lil' girl

  • XD I haven't seen that before, I'd love to see that happen between todays top drivers!

  • haha but they wouldnt dare cos they have zero personality and if they did something like smile they might be seen as going soft.

  • at 0:03 hakkinen has stuttering fit ish t peh
