Hey what strings did you use for it to not break when you tune up the A and D string? My D string always breaks after 3-4 plays of the song. =(

@0khaiser0 I'm currently using NEXUS 12's but tuning up and down from D to E is gonna break it eventually anyways... unless you can afford to buy a guitar and keep it in that tuning.

@0khaiser0 the trick is to tune your guitar a half step down, all of the strings! and then you tune it to the tuning you want: in this case E H E F# H E

damn it man. this is great but it's annoying me so i have to say it - that little interlude in the first verse where he changes the meter a bit, nobody on youtube does that right with the bass notes. i'm talking starting at :55. it's a great part, you can definitely do it. so do it! One of my top #5 favorite Mayer songs. This is easily the best cover of the song on YouTube. I say that not only as a fan of John's but also as someone who's been playing guitar for the past 12 years. Usually people mess up the tuning, or leave out notes/chords.
