Hi Holland,

I just tried to submit a question but idunno what happened, I went to an open cast call, and also submitted an email-app (w/youtube links) and a mail-in-app (w/dvd) which you guys have received this morning; I only did the last 2 submissions in addition to the casting call just because I'd seen the deadline was changed to April 12th and wanted to increase the chances that my app would be reviewed. Was I too late with the email/mail-in submissions?

OMG thanks for the tips I have sent in two videos and the first I didnt state me name age and location so i did another one and I think I did better but Im freaking out do I have to send in my app everytime I sent another video?

sottmiix -In another video, Holland addresses this, saying to prop the camera up using a tripod or set it down facing you. She states that it's better to turn in a tape using this method than "not turning in one at all".

Thank you for the tips... I was wondering, What if I do not have anyone to film me? I live with my elderly mother who is blind and my 8 yr old son. I work alone and I am a bus commuter. If I film myself and cannot comply with your specifications will I lose the opportunity to be concidered? I need this. Just this week I purchassed a digital camcorder and tripod to get started. But there will be hand held footage. Please advise. Thank you for all you do! You guys and gals are awesome!!!

This was really great! only I have to say that the biggest loser site on NBC is misleading because it says not to edit the video... My assumption was that meant not to have too much of all the mumbo jumbo stuff.... They should probably elaborate on that on the site more...

This is very helpful, Holland. I'm a total die-hard fan of all thing biggest loser and have been watching all the audition tapes I can find on YouTube! I came across one a few days ago that had me bawling like a baby while being completely inspired at the same time. how big do people have to be? this guy was 140lbs overweight, but there were some comments on his video that maybe he wasn't big enough for the new "our biggest contestants ever" theme of the Biggest Loser. thanks again!
